A very interesting read in my opinion: https://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olymp...403158.stm
It describes in-depth how the athletes use their doping and how they avoid the doping controls. I'd suppose it also counts for cyclists |

Robbie McEwen has said in the latest Procycling magazine that he plans to retire after the World Championships in Geelong, Australia in 2010 (Unless he wins it, then he will retire in 2011 instead)

Good for him, has the course been released, cause it would be great to see him win in Aussie-land |

Robbie McEwen is so funny to me. He is probably the best sprinter but I thought it was funny when he slingshot off someone and then was voided the win and his response was " Y'all saw that"

It's huge news in Britain at the moment. Has to do with a sprinter Dwain Chambers who was up to his eyes in dope (still looks like he is). The British Olympic Committee bans any rider from going into the olympics having ever had a drugs ban, he's trying to overturn it.
But he has come forward, he was on about 7 different drugs

Pozzato and Cavendish are fighting each other via the media.
Pozzato started by saying that "it was a good thing that Cavendish signed the anti-doping declarement, but when he's always being in the slipstream of the cars and using them it's almost as if you're doping yourself."
Cavendish responded by saying that he has never done such a thing, and that Pozzato in general has a problem with the good, young riders. He's acting like a boss towards them, Cavendish says. |

???? I think Cavendish is a great rider but for him to lie like that. I wouldn't have cared if he said "so what I've done that a couple times" but for him to lie.

In other news, several Pro Tour teams (primarily Saunier Duval and Lampre) have said they are interested in signing Petacchi who were fired from Milram a few days ago. |

What a stupid thing to be fighting about
If you get dropped and there are cars in front of you, you're not exactly going to ride out of their slipstream are you?
and maybe Cav was saying he had never done such a thing towards the "is almost as if you're doping yourself" part. But if it's about him in the slipstream of cars he's a bit of a tit. He's done it and there's nothing to be ashamed of really.

Maybe? His form is too good at the moment, so he needs to 'relax' if he wants to be in top form for TdF |

He was penalized at the tour of california for that, won the stage then he lost it
