So, just got home after a long day at work coping with this absolutely crap result. Daily form can be a bitch, and I assume Cunego had a -2 or 3 day... Not sure how this is points-wise, but I guess if all races will go like this we will stay up rather easily, so have not lost too much, but it's annoying to say the least.

Sad to lose the KOM jersey on the final day. Especially as the stage results who that Sarbio must have had decent legs.

Left it real late, left it to the last stage, but we can be satisfied with that tour.
Super gutsy ride from Talansky on the final stage, vaults himself up to a wewillhavethat 6th place in GC. Wonderful efforts from Egidio and Melo in the break, the latter again, the domestic riders are doing Flores proud that is for sure.

Could have been worse, I suppose. Good result for Ayubowan! who will probably be a lot happier after the results here, and of course dominating performance from Amador.

I'm back home after a great vacation. And here the racing has been in awesome speed!
Lövkvist doing some great work here and ending at 5th when I was hoping for something near top 10. That's a huge surprise.
And thanks for the reports. Will have to read the other races later today after work! |
