Maybe I am mistaken.
Well for about a month or more now Thomas has been 78 mtn as it was felt that at 79 he was very OP. There has been a trend from us to lower the mtn of certain riders recently like Valverde, Thomas and Dumoulin etc to about a point less than they were before, as their overall stats were very high anyway which made them about a point better than they should be. For example I had Valverde on 81 mtn winning the Tour, then at 80 he easily won the Giro so here's hoping at 79 mtn he'll ride more like Valverde when it comes to GT's in real life.
So whichever update you have you have one of the latest. The definitive stats update will be the next one we release hopefully after the Tour with the (mtn/hill) RES problem hopefully sorted out.

I agree with the downgrade of the stats, but what is the Montain Stats of Thomas on the latest EP Lite file uploaded? 78 or 79? |

So there must be a problem in my game, because in my game when I select EP3.0, he has 79... I will do a clean install of the game and the DBs, to see if that solves it. But I don't urdenstand what is going on. |

I confirm that his MO stat is still 79 in V0.3.1, because we haven't added any updated stats so far. That's planned for the first stable version of the Expansion Pack (V1.0), which will be released later this summer (at least not before the end of August).
Inactive due to personal reasons.

Thanks, I would have to do the clean install anyway, because I've made a mistake instaling one of the DB's recently, but now everything is fine.
Also will there be any changes to Rui Costa stats? |

No. He'll dominate the game too much, then.
PCM isn't made for a superhuman like Sagan |

Sagan is the best in flat, he has done it so many times e.g. today or Ronde Van Vlaanderen. |

Sagan boost in Flat imo. He has shown several times, that he is insane when goes. Also I think he derserves to have 79 sprint and not 78 as the original game has him at (don't know if you guys have boosted him on the SPR stat) |

To be fair, it was mainly Bodnar and Froome today. I have been watching the speed meter at the left bottom of the screen closely and I saw that the speed actually dropped a bit when Sagan and Thomas were in front, while Froome and Bodnar actually managed to speed up when they were riding.

This isn't the first time Sagan makes a gap on flat road.
Yesterday in the break, Van Avermaet commented after the stage, that everyone was suffering when Sagan went to take his turn. Considering some of the other guys with very high FLAT stats who never really prove that they deserve them, i think it's fair to raise Sagans a bit. |

Yes so many times also he beat Cancellara on flat road in Ronde Van Vlaanderen, Cancellara has evidently 81. |

But if he needs the boost, where do the boosting stop? The other stage he won also called for a stat boost in hills... |

This is something I acknowledged in my own DB--scaling back EVERYONE and then leaving high stats for only those actually good at X creates a much more accurate divide to the best. Sagan having ~77 in most things won't break the game if you have masters/specialists above that in X stat and have everyone else behind them. Gilbert in his prime would be better in the hills still, but he wouldn't top every stage like Sagan.
It depends on whether you want realism or a better game experience. If going game experience, the stats have to be this mushed together to make sure Sagan doesn't win everything like IRL

Question: how would boosting Sagan's resistance stat really high, while keeping his flat/mnt/hill/spr in more reasonable ranges, work out? If I understand res correctly, Sagan would be able to keep up with riders who have higher individual stats when they push into high intensity since his presumable god-like res would let him burn energy slower.
Thoughts? |
