I have never ventured into Hannes as it looks much too complicated, yours looks more like a soft teddy bear so i thought i might have been able to handle it... I was wrong!!!! :x
ill try it the way you said, i get the program open but i cant load anything...

Its ok your suggestion worked but not everything is working. When i go to cyclists im trying to put medina into my team but even when i transfer him to my team he wont go, if its to do with where my game is its in the 3rd of feb so you cant sign riders, but an editor should be able to get over this

It could be that the changes aren't reflected until you save and reload the game. I DO know though that when you do it trough the Contracts page of team the changes are reflected instantly.
After testing it just now myself i think i see what u mean, could be a bug, will add it to the thing to check  . For now i'd advice doing it trough the contracts page of a team instead of doing it with the right-click menu on the left selection pane. |

Whenever i try to save i get this problem...
its annoying as its now impossible to save, it just simply stops working :x

Try a new update, should fix that cyclists selection bug, also should fix your problem Matt, this one will uninstall previous versions automatically. Karl-rab, i added a Save As option for you, try the new update , try Save again if it still doesn't work try Save As option which will save it in a location/filenam you specify, cause probably it hangs cause it doesn't have permission from Vista to write in that location. Also try running it as administrator like described here -> https://www.security-hacks.com/2007/05...n-elevated

No i dont think so...
Just installed it and i cant see the difference...
Firstly whenever i click on certain teams or riders i get this message and you have to click it lots of times before it goes away...
Secondly i still cant add free riders...
and after the supposed transaction...
and i think you may need to rethink the auto uninstall thing as mine clearly has not been replaced..
hope you can get this sorted as its really good and not being able to save is annoying

It's funny. That "integrer"-thing was in Jape's save game editors for PCM06 too. It was fixable, though, if you changed your Regional Settings in Control Panel to a Euro-country (try Netherlands). |

Ok, then do a manual unistall from the control panel, cause that first bug is solved now. Also when changing the contract you need to specify the team you want him transferred to in the bottom selection box, save it first the reload and you'll see he did change to a different team (tested it just now myself).
And no, no stats editting, first wanna fix the bugs there are now then ill add things when i have some time.
Lol, yes that was my first guess too Crue but it had a different reason this time, so changing regional setttings doesnt fix it, the update does though . |

The latest update did fix the most annoying "integer" 
When i click on some riders in "Cyclists" column and some teams in "Teams",
the following errors occurred
But they are not that annoying as the "integer" did

It's beceause your using a database other then PCM Daily's. The reason it happens is cause you're missing the right country codes which you can set in General Settings under tools. I'm referring to the world map mapping list so for ex. (just making an example here, you should look up the right codes used in your database yourself unfortunatly)
ESP|ES
ITA|IT
FRA|FR
BEL|BE
NED|NL (say in your DB the country code is NLD then you should change it to NLD|NL)
..........
I think it only affects the world map, so not that important, might change it in the future so that you don't get that nagging messagebox each time but can choose to ignore it instead. |

Well, the rider bug FM-7 is gone. Now comes the most interesting part yet: How do you actually edit stuff?

yes Jape i did put a team in the box but even when i do that he doesnt change team, on top of that when you load it up again there is no team in the box, so it doesnt remember which team he is supposed to be assigned to.
but apart from that its great (and not being able to edit and add teams and riders)
EDIT:
also just to see if im getting it right which one should i install out of the setup and PCM dashboard installer?

Karl don't take offense at this but did you do it exactly like the following steps:
1-Right click a cyclist in left selection list
2-Click Transfer
3-Fill in Wage/Contract end and select a team from the list
4-Click the green OK button
5-Save (to be absolutly sure do Save as and pick a new filename somewhere)
5-Load and select the file you just selected in Save As dialog
Now the changes should be reflected and the free rider should have a new team.
btw doesnt matter much wich file you choose to install, i always take the Setup.exe although taking the other makes no difference at all. |

I did it right because it works if i do it with a rider with a team but if i try with rider who is classed as a 'Free Agent' it doesnt work.
I was wondering that it may make the problem easier to solve if you added an extra sub panel to the cyclists screen, i made a digital picture that gives you some indication of what could be on there, that way it would make the process of transfering much easier..

ok in that case, it may very well be bug after all (sorry for doubting you ) prolly due to the fact a free agent doesn't have a contract, but the team ID should change, i'll look into it asap. asap being monday at the earliest since tomorrow i'll be going to LBL all day. |
