what about: Gaps are reduced during mountain stages?

jaimster86
that's about the timegaps .. the number 2 of the race wont lose 6 min. anymore at the number 1 of the race ...

-- it's still possible to lose 6 min. but then you just suck at climbing Wink --

Again, I don't feel competent enough to judge the time gaps. In career mode (or in full tours), recuperation and fitness form will have much more effect than it does in my mini-tour. Both those things have an effect on the time gaps, so I wouldn't base my opinion on this tour.

Great to hear about the new features in the game through example. Will you be posting a sprint stage as the final stage? (BTW, good luck in your exam CrueTrue, I have one this morning as well!)

CrueTrue
Yes, it's the Champ Elysses, and hopefully fpr you it will end in a sprint. Hopefully for me, O'Grady will take the win in a breakaway Wink

very nice story crue!! Grin

Just one thing bothering me - what about Andreas Klöden?? He isn't anywhere in the top10 and one of the biggest favourites for this years tour. Are his stats in the original DB so bad? Also the stats for "The Schlecks" don't seem to be accurate, especially after Andy's 2nd place in thiy years Giro?

Btw, how was your exam?

CrueTrue
Klöden lost a lot of time on the previous stage (stage 4), because he worked for Vinokourouv throughout the entire stage. This is how he's placed in the general classification:

17 Andreas Klödin KAZAKSTANA + 8'50

As far as I remember, both Schlecks have 78 in MO, and personally I think it's fine Smile

(My exam starts at 12:30)

Well let us know how it went.

Remember you have the support of every PCM fan in the world. That ought to count for something.

The form of the day seems to have a massive and very decisive effect on the outcome of the stage - maybe to much. Don't get me wrong I think it's a great new feature and very realistic to some degree, but it may have a too large influence on certain stages. For example one day having +5 and totally dominating the stage and the next stage having -5 and completely losing the overall hopes.
What I mean is that it should't be random values but with more continuity and a clear connection to the riders form. Maybe I'm all wrong and this is rubbish..?
What's your opinion?

Reminds me of Floyd Landis last year. he's crusing along and then completely bonks up La Toussuire (sorry to the French about my spelling). So that would have been his "-5" day. Then the following day he solos up the mountains (i.e. "+5"Wink day and saves his race. Obviously his doping questions and lack of team support on his bad day completely mars my analysis. But I like the fact that certain riders aren't going to kill me in every mountain stage (Cunego in the Giro AngryAngry). It'll give me a chance at least.

hope you're exam went well CrueTrueGrin

CrueTrue
It did - got "11" on the 13-scale - you can read about the scale here: https://www.ciriusonline.dk/default.as...px?ID=3572. So, it was just perfect. i'm really happy Grin

On topic: I expect to post the final stage later today.

Is there any youngsters in the CSC team that you dont know. Its just that in many football games they make people up, in PCM i dont mind if the scouted riders are made up but i like all the team to be real.

fifa

Boasson Hagen Jr
Yes , but that is not in the team....that is in your talent academy wich is not basically a part of your team! It is like when you sponsor a rider in pcm!
