Could this have been any more boring??? BMC with great tactics so happy they didnt even made it to a podium place. Worst AGR in years
Have you even watched the last five AGRs? all but one were a sprint up the Cauberg... There is always a large group come the Cauberg now. With guys like Matthews, Kwiatek etc. hard to see that changing in near future either.
Next thing you know you will be saying Fleche is boring because they sprint up the Huy?

Hasn't this been the general consensus for years?

Gilbert really strong, but somehow Matthews (of all people?!) managed to hang on. BMC was stupid, Lotto too weak and well, Quick Step finaly wins something!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Kwiatek must be at top shape..when he out sprinted Matthews and Valverde like this.
Always nice to see WC winning important races..stages. |

Well Kwiatek is a better sprinter than Valverde and Matthews was completely cooked |

So I am just coming home today. Amstel Gold Race missed. Shit. Had hoped to to be at home with 50km to go. |

Watching paint dry would have been more exciting.

Well had expected a boring race. But still missing most races recently. And also will infuture. No LBL neither...
But it`s a cool top 10 today. Some surprising riders or riders that were expected to surprise eventually.

I found last 1,6km quite exciting. Rest of the race is just like every year. |

way too many riders for last climb
so not good tactics from bmc, movistar
in last 4km before cauberg were 5 orica guys
bmc didn't care about that.they tought gilbert will be awesome
i like that matthews was the only guy to stay in gilbert wheel
kwiatkowski should say thanks to matthews for that
i do believe if anybody else were in gilbert wheel, that duo probably would relayed
anyway happy that gilbert didn't win
if he pushed and after the climb he may had a slim chance as matthew was suffocated and we saw his sprint power

Nah, I find this cycling season pretty entertaining. The flanders classic were terrific and a blast since Omloop, stage races Paris-Nice, Catalunya and Pais Vasco were fun to follow as well. Even Down Under and some minor stage races like Andalucia gave us some moments. Tirreno-Adriatico was solid too. It's just the Ardennes who look to be the typical dull affair. I just hope that La Doyenne will get at least some decent attacking and multiple groups to battle it out for victory. But likely all the little action of the Ardennes will already be forgotten by the time Romandie comes around and prepares us for some Giro-love.

I loved the race...Tony was long at the front. Then he attacked and the english guys talked about him all day. Then Kwiatek won. Awesome race. AGR never disappoints.

Way too boring ...
Oh and make the route pre-2013 one.
I want Gulpenerberg,Kruisberg,Eyserbosweg,Fromberg and Keutenberg near the finish so that lots of actions can happen. With the new route everyone waits for Cauberg |
