That will depend on what mood Wiggins is in and whether he can be arsed trying
That's most certainly true. When Wiggins sets his mind to something, he really delivers sooner or later. by the way: What's up with Cance & his long, long talked about HR attempt?
2015 should be fun with all those hour records, though for now we all know that Brändle still got it.

Cancellara will do it as one of the last people in this couple of years to try it. That's the way these challenges tend to work: less known riders start to break records and then gradually you work your way up through the time trialling ranks until you reach the top.
I know the Cancellara attempt was delayed whilst the UCI confirmed the rules. Then he stepped back to begin prep again because they were working under the old rules. Looking at his ever consuming desire to win the Worlds i'm say he won't go for the HR until 2016.
But Dennis and Bobridge should be great to watch. Money would be on Bobridge to go quicker of the two and no doubt be ahead of Brandle as well. Bobridge time could be something special and put real pressure on Wiggins/Cancellara.
I'd love to see Phinny have a go after a bit of training. And for Martin to confirm he will give it a proper go as well. Let's get a real battle going where people have more than one try and the titles. God i love the Hour Record.

Of course that's the common rule but we also know Cance. All he did so far was talk about the HR record. And boy, does he talk a lot.
My guess is: Wiggins will break Brändle's 2015 and then some time will pass until Martin attempts it post Rio-2016. Various fails inbetween. Not even sure if Martin can break it, Wiggins is track, Martin is just Time Trial.
But actually, at that time, there might even be already some new TT iron in the making that is to take Martin's place and we talk about the new HR record to be set at this time. Looks like a never-ending story, something the UCI just got to love.

Wiggins won't be breaking Brandle's record as that will fall in January unless something goes wrong for Bobridge, Dowsett also has a good chance to take it along with a few others including track riders. I don't know if Martin will take it now with this new focus on the HR and with top shelf riders with a track background taking it on he might have missed his chance unless of course he puts in some serious track time. I don't think Cancellara doesn't have a chance at it now even if he actually attempted it which I have my doubts that he will

True, but the structure will change in a few years, right? Can't remember the exact details, but I'm sure more teams will be having less riders soon.

2017 it will reduce to 22/23(?) riders. But it's also one of the most contested parts of the new rules. It's the smallest ProTour team ever (afaik) and i think 26+ should be where all the teams are.

Only 24 riders? That's gonna be either a stretched season or a few less races. Even with new sponsors looks like a noteicable budget cut.
Absolutely. A single injury and they can't ride 3 races simultaneously. Europcar struggled with I think 27 this season.
