I think the parcours would be totally fine if it wasn't for that cretin Giant rider looking around in the middle of a bunch sprint. Absolutely ridiculous.
Is it just me btw, or is Bouhanni a huge dick? First he is pushing and shoving everyone to gain positions, and when he wins the sprint he is acting like he is the fucking king of France... I don't like that guy at all.

And this is exactly why he's great. The peloton could use more guys with personality like him.

So being a dick and causing very dangerous situations in a sprint by pushing and shoving your competitors is considered "personality" now... That saddens me.
No, all lead outs do this. And all lead outs are the cause of 90% of the crashes. Because they don't care and are too tired to look around.
UCI needs to invents something. A general rule for lead-outs....or something.
That's the only way to prevent this

In this instance it's not entirely his fault. he kept riding in a straight line and he was just pushed against his handlebar...

Almost every sprinter pushes and shoves, unless they get a royal leadout like Kittel does.
I ahve to agree, I can't really blame the leadout. He can't just magicaly disappear after doing his stuff. Riding in a straight line while looking around for dangers is all you can do. But yeah, maybe he should've had a firmer grip. Hard to judge what he was doing/thinking from the couch though.
Stybar, one of the only classic riders i like.. sad to see this happening in a race Im pretty sure he would have won. Classy rider. Season over for him now?

To some extent, yes. But Bouhanni acts like he's in the boxing ring while riding. He takes things too far imo. Riders like Greipel are not like that and let themselves get pushed away, to avoid danger. This is playing with lives imo. They should punish pushing and shoving in sprints more.
