I know it doesn't make sense but as I already have asked in another thread: Does it matter if my riders are not happy with the goals I have assigned to them? |

Perhaps i did not express myself very well. Thing that always put me off was for example that i had races in my sponsor goals, which my team was not even able to take part in. Also the riders often had unlogical favorite races and became very unhappy whenever i changed their calendar. I know that happiness did not affect performance, but it refrained me of the "imagination" of actually controlling human beings.
Did they repair rider happiness this year? |

I have prolonged contracts with riders otherwise very unhappy rideds who were ready to leave the team, so I guess not. |

Maybe he means the troubles I had in PCM13, where fatigue wasn't predicted correctly and you end up with way more fatigue than originally indicated.
I still haven't found a fix for that, and I guess it can happen too in PCM14.
My current workaround is to remove fatigue on a daily basis from my save using a script. This inflates the riders fitness (theoretically you would suffer no consequences from planning maximum fitness all year), so I plan with no 'red zone' at all, and let the bars drop according to the predicted fatigue. This way I still have a predictable and 'realistic' fitness plan.

I started my first career after getting the game with NetApp-Endura in the Conti Pro division. So far I finished the tour of Quatar. Got two stage wins in the Tour of San Luis and one in the dubai Tour, where I also finished 2nd in the overall tour standings with one rider (Matzka).
Now at the tour of Quatar, my sponsor expects a stage win, but it seems to be impossible, because all the CTT teams joined the tour.
Will the CTT opponents be taken into consideration according to the sponsor goals ? Like if I finish 5th in a stage and places 1-4 are only riders from CTT teams, will that count to make the sponsor happy ? Or is it just bad luck if CTT teams join the tours your sponsor wants you to win and you just dont have a chance then ?

Does anybody have a DB version of the FDB14 v1.5 that got some corrected skills? Without everybody having the 77+ flat skill and what not?
And if not, what db's can i play with without having to uninstall the FDB14 v1.5?

I am not 100% sure, but you can install 2 PCMs and play with 2 or even more DBs at the same time, which should do the job. -> https://pcmdaily.c...ost_520132
However, if you don't have enough space or whatsoever for that and you want to play with both DBs in the same time, on the same game, I recommend backing up your files before you try to install Pack Italia over PCMFocus. Good luck!

FDB14 v1.5 is a great pack, but the flat skill and what not is not doing it for me. So was just wondering if i needed to uninstall it before playing with the new one. And, im using Steam for the first time, been using disk versions since 05.
I'll figure it out. Was just wondering.

But if you want to take risk, go and install it over PCMFocus. If it doesn't work (which is likely, not gonna lie you), you'll have to completely uninstall it aftewards.

I've just played a horribly strange stage 2 of Tour de San Luis in the CYM Italia database. I was the Venezuelan team Tachira and here's what happened.
20KM to go: All day solo break by OPQS's Michel Golas is ahead by 3 mins over a AG2R led peloton who had been hard on the front for the last 30-35km, and Golas was gaining time at a rate of 30 sec per 5-7 km (Don't ask me how the hell he was able to do that) 
12KM to go: I see that the gap is still going up somehow, and I start to think maybe I should attack with my leader Jimmy Brecino (remember the guy with the crazy Hemostat or whatever in the 60's).
8KM to go: I actually attack with a weaker climber that I have that happens to have +5 daily form. The peloton immediately decides to go full retard to reel in my weak climber 
5KM to go: The stage route finishes with a 3.5 km climb at an avg 7-8%, and I decide to attack at 5KM to go with Brecino, which everyone single climber up front decides to immediately mark me, then counter-attack me like I'm Contador or Froomy.
2.5KM to go: I manage to somehow catch all the riders ahead of me, going almost all in to do so. As soon as I catch them, I try to sit on for a second, and they all try to sit up on me like I'm the absolute favorite or something. Then finally I start to pace up a bit, 3 guys attack me (Simon Clarke, Visconti and another OPQS guy not being Golas). They finally catch Golas, the peloton finally catches me, then slows down because Brecino is so much better than the peloton . I finally just sneak away and finish in 7th, 1:08 down on winner Clarke.
That is just one of weird stories of PCM 14 gameplay I've got

Had to uninnstall because of the interface stuff. Not a big deal tho. Worth the try.

Lotto have beast sprint train, but no mountain support, had to make do with just two >70 climbers to help Jurgen (de clerc 77 and armee 73)
Also picked up the sprint jersey with Debusschere.
