Froome your a legend yes yes yes. The best is back and he will make Alberto look silly in July remember Catalunya. Contador had way more shape. |

This makes for a very good TdF. With Froome looking in superb form. Looks like Contador will be the only rider capable of stopping him. Valverde has also been in good from but does not look like tour wining form. Maybe a podium. Looks like Nibali might struggle because he has shown poor form this season so far, forget win he may not even be on the podium. |

Nibali is always on form for his season goals though, so i wouldn't count him out just yet. Still over 2 months to go. |

Froome a legend?

I thought fan boys only appeared in the Tour. Looks like this year they decided to crawl out of their caves earlier. |

Clearly im joking and how have i crawed out the cave i probably been following cycling sicne you were in nappies so good try about me a July fan. Sorry for going against you and rooting or Froome i did last year too. He is the best though or is that absurd, my eye test i think is spot on who i feel is the best. I think it will be a bigger battle though than last year i feel it maybe secnds going into final itt.

Focusing entirely on the good implications of recent races (and choosing to disregard any misgivings in this post ) it does indeed look like we might get a battle royale at the Tour - Froome, Contador, Valverde, Nibali and errr...Van Garderen are currently topping the betting odds.
It could be an exciting July. |

Yeah, if we're lucky it'll be exciting till the bottom of the first real MTF, then Sky train will accelerate, Froome will go full retard, breaking an awesome figure of Watts, shattering the opposition, people will hope for him to crack on the next MTF but that won't happen, or perhaps he'll lose 5 seconds on the very last day in the mountains and that'll be it. "Bring on 2015" we'll say.
This is going to be so exciting, I can barely wait.
It looks like it's going to be one more year to cheer for WADA or AFLD to put some order. |

Yo, i dont see the reason for being so negative. I think the route of the Tour de France looks interesting and Contador seems to have stepped up his game massively compared to 2013 + Nibali in his prime. I know he hasnt looked great, but i feel Like Nibali is kinda poor compared to others when not in 100% shape. We have seen that alot time from him - no need to worry. Valverde as looke great in the spring as well. The only thing that kinda sucks is Quintana doing the Giro cause he would definetely be able to follow Froome.
It's so frustrating to read here and ppl already writing the Tour off, especially since 80% of you still would watch 60+ hours of cycling come July |

Nobody will have a chance on Froome and SKY train, not even close. Bar crash or big time loose in that stage with cobbles, froome will dominate. End of story. And yeah, i will still watch, but more likely because of flat stages and breakaways, those are much more enjoyable in recent years...

I can't believe Nibbles wasn't a serious threat to Froomey.

You clearly don't know Aquarius.
Your entire method of arguing seems to be strawman attacks. Stop putting words in people's mouths.

No I don't rather Valverde win lol, thank you.
I don't think I have to choose between two (or countless) evils. I'm not going to stop pointing my finger at Froome (or Contador, or Valverde, or ...) just because the main contenders are on stuff as well. |

While i agree that Froome clearly is the favorite (would give him 80% chance of winning if he doesnt crash etc.), I do not agree with your statement that Contador and Nibali 'arent even close'.
And the fact that you enjoy flat stages more than mountain stages, well.. just dno. I cant believe you are saying that with a straight face. You would rather watch Arras - Reims than the Planche des Belles Filles-stage?
