I don't think anybody else won on time as extravagantly as I did

That's evil. I had (off-line) once promoted all pieces and put them back in starting position

Depends on the time control. My play is relatively weak in blitz because I usually play G/30 or G/120, and then I can take time. With 10 minutes on the clock I always feel that I should move insanely fast, leading to stupid mistakes. But to answer your question, you should only spend 15-20 sec per move, and in the opening maybe only 1 second per move, it should be automatic

Well played, I made way too many blind mistakes.
So after my six matches that's won 2 lost 4. Better than I expected to be honest |

This is what i think it is: The winners and runner-ups of each group form two new groups of four, who play it out again, and then the two winners and runner-ups play each other in the semi finals, and the two winners play each other in the final, and whoever wins that is PCMDaily's Chess Champion!
Is that right or did i misunderstand something?

as far as I understand it the third and fourth in each group will also be grouped again, then people will play for position.

Hmm, but wouldn't that just mean that you'd be better off loosing your matches at this stage?

Nope, because those who end up as 1st or 2nd will battle for the win, while those coming 3rd and 4th will go for 9th place
