Damn, two used stages for Cartoo Network. We are losing places and not scoring enough points. Why the hell is Kai Reus in the front bunch but Cyril Lemoine lost 3 minutes? Jeez, I feel like I'm the manager of a freaking kindergarten.

But that is not the point. The team is finally recovering from the hard early efforts imposed by our former head coach.

Again congratulation to Rodriguez who is now ranked 50th in GC. For the 3rd favorite today, that is pretty descent ranking :lol:

Lectrosonics are making their presence known, however it is really just keeping the status quo to be honest with Jerome not making the needed gains on the prominent names. Still good to see the team on the front.

After many days without a sprint, surely we would have one today.

No break with 70 kilometres to go as we pass through Pinheiro.


Then Biondo, Noval and Sulzberger attack out of the peloton they would be joined 10 kilometres later by Samoilau, Pliuschin and Bobridge for the break of the day.

Alcyon, Cartoon Network and Celesio were intent on brining things back together for a sprint today.

Haynes punctured and would be the only rider not to finish in the bunch today. Iberia will be happy how he has looked after the yellow jersey nevertheless.


Despite late attacks from members of the break they are caught with 6 kilometres to go.

Three trains have been formed with a few hundred meters to go.


Sutton, Dean and Siskevicious each have a lead out man in front of them. Surely one of these three will contest the victory......

But no..... none of the leadout men want to be the first to launch their final effort. As a result the sprinters, with no teammates, come fast from behind. Schorn is looking good.

At the finish..... it is a win for UK Youth!


Traksel went at the right time and just takes the stage win ahead of Dean. Sutton looked to be marginally the fastest in the final, if only Van Staeyen could have delivered a solid lead out..... Stage win for UK Youth!

Good stage. We rely on this flat stages now to get many UC points and Lemoine, De Backer and Dean did a great job once again. Congratz to Team UK Youth and Sutty.

Weird seeing them all stopping ahead of the finish line. Pfft
