I think Cancellara is the only one who can do the double this year. But it probably won't happen.

Please let this happen.
Chances are small indeed though.

4. Phinney
5. Chavanel
RR
1. Nibali
2. Sagan
3. Gilbert
4. Valverde
5. Mollema

Some big podiums you've got, 5 spots
My predictions
TT:
1. Martin
2. Wiggins
3. Phinney
4. Cancellara
5. Someone we don't expect but happens to be in great form (like Kiryenka or Gruzdev last year)
The road race is unpredictable this year. I think the new WC will be a rather surprise this year. I think someone will ride away and win due to favourites watching each other, and people will go "What? Him?" followed by 's (or hate posts if it isn't a positive surprise). |

Scarponi probably agrees.
EDIT: Van den Broeck maybe too.

I think Cancellara will be 1st man to win both. He has proved he can beat Martins in TT. And he is very strong in hills too. He will win both, that's my prediction. |

As was said - he has beaten him in extremly hilly ITT, this is pancake flat...
But my predictin
TTT: OPQS
ITT: Tony Martin
RR: Zdeněk Štybar

I wouldn't count on any of that. The TT podium is for Martin, Wiggins and Phinney, imo.
As for the road race, you're severely underestimating him. Top favourite along with Nibali in my opinion.
Wouldn't be so sure about that. There's quite a Long climb, isn't there? I think that would more favoure cancellara than Martin.
Cancellara will not finish on the podium in the RR, he will drag a break along towards the finish and let other riders wheel suck there way to a win
This is Sagans job in the last months. But he is better in actually escaping and finishing his move.
I see it as Nibali x Sagan x Cancellara x Spanish armada x Colombia Cartel x Gesink (my dark horse) battle.
Also some belgian and french rider coming close to top5.
And Styby of course.

Nobody agrees more than Rojas. But four men only would do for him.
And no way Cancellara will do double, i doubt he will win even one of races. He will be smashed by Panzerwagen + Wiggins in TT and climbers in the RR.

They always have a strong list of riders but a weak team, full of to many leaders and not enough riders willing to work for eachother

People said same about Fabian Cancellara when Tony Martin beat him in 2011 Vuelta TT. I think OPQS have stretched Tony Martin's season too long and made him ride tough TdF and Vuelta. On the other hand Cancellara has timed it perfectly. And will win the TT. Anyway that's just my opinion. |
