I was 6th favourite to win, with Leo Duque 8th. I had regained all my energy, and was ready to go again!
As per usual, we had a breakaway. 3 riders this time, with 3 others joining mid-way.
The first attacks from the peloton came as Marentes got to the front with the last batch of water, on the 2nd last climb. Ciolek (MTN) and the yellow jersey of Reijnen were in front, with the break still ahead by a little bit.
I was working very hard to try and get back Reijnen, but it didn't seem to work. But everyone ahead was dead, this was my chance. The break would win though, no doubt about that.
I was leading my own group through. You can just see the yellow jersey ahead in that frame.
I would be an MTN rider who took the win, but not Ciolek. Reimer took the win for thw South African outfit. Russell Downing (TNE) got 2nd, with Cammaerts (COF) 3rd.
Despite doing the leadout for all my 20 companions, I managed to beat them all to the line and finished in 11th place. It didn't show up on the results though, quite fortunately however, as I was given the same time as Reijnen.
A good day for me personally, I managed to ride my way to the same time as the yellow jersey, so I didn't lost any time. As some random fan on my blog said ( ): Time to chase those bonus seconds!
But there won't be chasing of any sort until tomorrow when I've had a nice rest. Until then...

I'd just like to thank everyone who voted for me for New Story of the Month! It feels great to win it! Also, appologies for the lack of reports recently. School starts on Tuesday so I'm trying to get as much content as I can, despite being busy with school rowing trials (I got in (cox)). Also, I have end-of-year exams in 4 weeks, so don't expect many reports in that period. I can also tell you now, we have a very interesting AToC coming up .

Unfotunately a hacker managed to infiltrate the photographers' computers and deleted all of the pictures of today's stage. Hopefully he/she won't do this again and it will just be a one-off, however at least for today you will have to put up with just text.
There was a 3 man breakaway, in which Ershov (RVL) rolled over the Cat. 1 climb first. I was planning to attack on the last meaningful climb - hopefully I would succeed.
We formed the usual train, with Valencia on Reijen's wheel.
At 10km, I went. I was getting away, but the climb was too short to actually make a gap.
For some reason, Avila was wrecked, so he dropped out of the train - leaving Arango to lead out Duque himself. This made our train weaker, but then Arango too got tired! Nothing was going right for us, so Duque had to go at 1.4km.
Ciolek took the win, ahead of van Staeyen. Duque managed a rather impressive 6th, taking into account the circumstances of the sprint. I finished 29th, in the same time as the leaders.

Hacker strikes again! Text review only again  .
I was the 4th favourite to win. Hopefully I could do so, as my energy was still full!
There were 5 men in the break. They got more than 10' before the peloton tried to bring them back. It was a very bad chase however! 6'37" was the gap at 51.7km. Cusin (IAM) was 6'27" behind in the GC too! So, we put Marentes into the chase. That did the trick! He single-handedly brought the gap to under 5 minutes, but then stopped at 29.3km, despite not being tired. The gap was small enough so that the GC wouldn't change, that was all we needed to do.
A group of 9 got free of the peloton. It was me, Suarez, Marentes, (both dead) 4 riders from UHC, Reijnen included, Arroyo and El Fares (SOJ).
The latter attacked as the group was caught. He lead Reijnen and me, with the BoTD still ahead.
I was falling behind, however soon got back.
Cusin took the win, Judovalkis (CRE) 2nd, and Koretzky (BSE) 3rd.
I held off my sprint, and managed to overtake my two companions. However, Reijnen found some legs and beat me to the line.

This damn hacker is getting annoying!
Break was a break of 6. The sprinters' teams would finally be working again, so we were expecting a bunch sprint finish.
There was a very high pace from 15km to go onwards, so Duque followed van Staeyen. I started to ride anyway though  .
I was just ahead of the bunch at 1km to go. Duque followed Haussler, but unexpectedly the breakaway would take the stage win (AGAIN!).
Labbe (COF) took the stage win, while van Staeyen was 1st from the peloton. Duque still had lots of energy when he finished.
Spoiler TWO STAGES IN 1 POST, HOW CRAZY IS THAT!?!?!? 
We had a 3 man break this time, yet again no-one important.
The train was tired from position-getting. The train itself was pretty much the same, but since it was the last stage Marentes headed Suarez and then the train was as normal. I rode alongside the train, making sure not to block anyone .
The train was well behind for the sprint, due to the first two guys. I kept riding though, and again seemed to leave the peloton.
I finished 7th... On a flat stage. THAT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!?
Anyway, there have been some backroom and press stuff going on in the team, and I'll report those soon. But until then...

Reporter: There are a host of talented names out of contract for the coming season. Names such as Rein Taaramae, Yoan Offredo and many others are likely to part company with their current teams. Who is your main target for next season, apart from riders on your team this season?
DS: Rein Taaramae has to be someone who the team would be delighted to bring in. With the climbing talent we already have with Duarte and Atapuma among several others, I think that Rein would fit in very well with the team. We believe that since we are pushing for promotion this year, if we do end up in the World Tour next year, Taaramae could be a huge coup for us. We are also on the lookout for a top sprinter, but I am making Rein Colombia's top priority,

How good would it be to ride with Rein Taaramae? I'm still under contract for next season, so I'm really excited at the prospect of not only getting promoted but if the team does bring in such great riders then I will definitely be looking to renew my contract when the time comes. A top sprinter would be nice though. Duque is good but still hasn't won a stage this year. We need someone who is at least a Top 5 WT stage type sprinter. If I was the manager I'd set my sights on guys like Roelandts and Goss, but I'm not sure about their contract situations. We'll also need guys for the cobbles. Langeveld maybe? Phinney? Anyway, I'm in no position to decide this. Tell me what you think about signing Taaramae and also leave suggestions for signings. I might even give them to the DS! I only say these things because right now we are in a really good position to get promoted, and it's likely we'll stay there. Anyway, time to focus on racing once again!

So, wondering why the riders came in force to Mr. DS? Well, not enough race days. Riders like myself and Leonardo Duque had been racing a lot, while riders like Rodriguez and Corti had races less that 15/20 days. From now on, the race days will be more spread out. Monthly review coming soon.

The transfer season finishes on 30 October right? Because right now, I'm $19,020 in the red, my sponsor payout is the same as my rider wages each month. I fired all the staff (that was the problem), so is there any way to gain money before the transfer season ends without using the editor?
