Im not too bothered by it, but it just means that when I do get into the ProTour, I wont focus on the Giro or Vuelta much. |

Yeah, it was very annoying for me because it didn't recognize i met a sponsor goal either. So the confidence in my management was poor. But i think its still important to win the grand tours just cuz. |

True.
I dont need to worry about my Sponsor confidence though, its been Excellent since the National Championships.
Another win for Wyss!
The timing system in Australia is quite odd as you can see from the top 20:
1 Danilo Wyss EUROSPORT.COM 7h20'33 Player
2 Matthew Goss SOUTHAUSTRALIA.COM - AIS + 23
3 Dean Downing DFL - CYCLINGNEWS - LITESPEED + 1'03
4 Lloyd Mondory AG2R PREVOYANCE + 1'11
5 Aleksei Zaitsev CYCLING TEAM CAPEC + 1'13
6 Piotr Zaradny TEAM KNAUF + 1'14
7 Jeremy Hunt UNIBET.COM s.t.
8 Steven Caethoven CHOCOLADE JACQUES - TOPSPORT VLAANDEREN + 1'15
9 Edvald Boasson Hagen TEAM MAXBO BIANCHI + 1'16
10 Alexei Kolessov EUROSPORT.COM + 1'19 Player
11 Henk Vogels SHELL - LOTTO + 1'27
12 Markus Eichler TEAM REGIOSTROM - SENGES + 1'30
13 Sterling Magnell TOYOTA UNITED PRO CT s.t.
14 Gabriel Rasch TEAM MAXBO BIANCHI + 1'43
15 Michael Ford SOUTHAUSTRALIA.COM - AIS + 1'47
16 Matt Wilson UNIBET.COM + 1'51
17 Wouter Van Mechelen CHOCOLADE JACQUES - TOPSPORT VLAANDEREN + 1'54
18 Daniel Babic TEAM REGIOSTROM - SENGES + 1'55
19 Erki Putsep AG2R PREVOYANCE s.t.
20 Jens Mouris TEAM REGIOSTROM - SENGES + 1'57
It means that Schleck + Lustrinelli, the men I have brought for the hilly stage, plus French stagiare Coppel, for the TT stage are now all 3 minutes back. Its a shame that Wyss isnt too good on the hills or he may have a chance of winning the whole tour. As things are, Im just looking for more stage wins.
Eurosport are currently ranked 14th in the Continental rankings, If Wyss could keep up his form then we may move back up to 13th.

Wyss' form is: 67 pts (60/70 + 7/20), His sprinting stat is 75 compared to Goss' 78.
It's great! I almost didnt pick Wyss due to his form and orange fatigue bar. Due to these top results I'm going to try and start my season next year in Australia, with Wyss leading.

I'm glad I didnt take 11 seconds extra, as it would definately have been harsh. As it is the Herald Sun Tour turned out to be very successful with 2 wins for Wyss and 1 win for Coppel + Kolessov. Eurosport have now leaped to 11th in the Continental rankings!
Heres the full overall standings from Australia:
1 Cyrille Monnerais QANTAS 17h57'47
2 Alexei Kolessov EUROSPORT.COM + 10
3 Matthew Goss SOUTHAUSTRALIA.COM - AIS + 25
4 Dean Downing DFL - CYCLINGNEWS - LITESPEED + 47
5 Preben Van Hecke SHELL - LOTTO + 51
6 Edvald Boasson Hagen TEAM MAXBO BIANCHI + 1'02
7 Frédéric Lecoissas EUROSPORT.COM + 1'28
8 Marc Schleck EUROSPORT.COM + 2'26
9 Jeremy Hunt UNIBET.COM + 2'32
10 Matthé Pronk UNIBET.COM + 2'56
11 Markus Eichler TEAM REGIOSTROM - SENGES + 3'04
12 Andrei Mediannikov CYCLING TEAM CAPEC + 3'17
13 Heath Blackgrove TOYOTA UNITED PRO CT + 3'30
14 Gabriel Rasch TEAM MAXBO BIANCHI + 3'31
15 Matthew Lloyd SOUTHAUSTRALIA.COM - AIS + 3'33
16 Danilo Wyss EUROSPORT.COM + 3'36
17 Steven Caethoven CHOCOLADE JACQUES - TOPSPORT VLAANDEREN + 4'12
18 Lloyd Mondory AG2R PREVOYANCE s.t.
19 Sterling Magnell TOYOTA UNITED PRO CT + 4'31
20 Wouter Van Mechelen CHOCOLADE JACQUES - TOPSPORT VLAANDEREN + 4'48
24 Jerome Coppel EUROSPORT.COM + 5'12
29 Mauro Lustrinelli EUROSPORT.COM + 5'52
50 Miroslav Boic EUROSPORT.COM + 10'12
59 Stefano Lucarelli EUROSPORT.COM + 15'21
Hagen took full advantage of the crash too - he claimed the Points classification as Goss and Wyss did not score any points.
1 Edvald Boasson Hagen TEAM MAXBO BIANCHI 68
2 Matthew Goss SOUTHAUSTRALIA.COM - AIS 68
3 Danilo Wyss EUROSPORT.COM 62
Eurosport won the team classification! |

New Signings!
My squad has grown to literally a MASSIVE size and here are some of the reasons for it:
Super climber!
A very handy young sprinter
Slovenian National Champion
A Luxembourg sprinter in the making?
A Dane sprinter definately in the making
A shock signing! I thought Id look at the Under 21 free riders following all the transger moves, and here was such a big talent that I could not ignore.
and the Scouted ones, who will not be used much at all:
Pat McPhee - Ireland
Oleg Artemenko - Ukraine
Mikhayil Vovchuk - Ukraine
Ghenadie Zmurco - Moldova
Bent Bjorqkvist - Denmark
Ben Shoemake - Britain |

Very nice new signings, although i would have made Schleck's stats better in TT and res/rec because he did (will) get 2nd in Giro and he beat all the main contendors in the last TT except Mazzoleni (we all know he is doped tho )
Good luck in the future, with that star power you'll get to the ProTour in no time. |

Yup! Ive never enjoyed a stage like that before when my sprinter crashes near the finish!
Have a look at the stats for in my opinion the 5 best riders of 2006.
Vinokourov won the proTour over Jens Voigt by just a few points (Full rankings report comes later). Samuel Sanchez easily won the Continental tour, and McEwen and Hunt were 1st and 2nd in the most victories rank. |

What great signings. How on earth did you get Gesink to sign for you?

Quite easily actually - although he has signed a a sprinter
After all the transfers took place, there was just about 10 free riders left who were under 21, and one of them was Gesink. Rabobank must of not resigned him. |

Gesink a sprinter, why didn't you just sign him as a co-leader?
and you totally dominate in almost every TT |
