Good to hear people still follow this story. Keeps me going for sure |

Boucles de la Mayenne - Stage 3
Todays stage will finish with an uphill sprint. This might be the chance for Reichenbach. We'll see if he'll be able to finish better than yesterday.
The race started quite fast today as the peloton didn't like the breakaway and chasing them from the start.
30 km to go: There are only 4 riders left up front and with 1:30 gap it doesn't look good for them, as the peloton is keeping the pace high.
Looks like it's going to be mass sprint in the end today.
15 km to go: The breakaway is history now and the sprint trains start to form.
Tissot set up theirs for Reichenbach, or ist it going to be for Keller? We'll have to see...
But the team can't position themselves well, losing too much energy in the positioning fights and leaving them to watch the sprint from far away.

Boucles de la Mayenne - Stage 4
The fourth and final stage of this tour. Let's see how Tissot will do today.
With this flat stage it was all for the sprinters once more. So the breakaway had little chance of success. Noentheless there where some riders who wanted to try it either way.
50 km to go: the breakaway is just 2 minutes ahead. Looks like the sprinters will have the stage for themselves. This might be a stage for Keller today. So far he couldn't show his talent, always staying in the shadow of Reichenbach.
15 km to go: Tissot managed the set up their train, Reichenbach is at the last position with Keller just in fornt of him. Who's it going to be from Tissot for the sprint today?

7 km to go: Tissot is positioned themselves well for the final sprint. The breakaway is still a few seconds ahead tho... Will they finish in front of the sprinters?
3 km to go: Gross can't keep the high pace, slowing down the Tissot train. Keller and Reichenbach will have to sprint from far behind... Still the breakaway is a couple hundered meters ahead.
Too bad, Tissot was in a great position, but the pace was just tood high for the team. The'll have to try next time.

Awesome! Love the pace. 5-6 stages a day. I find most stories move too slowly. Not this one. Keep it up! I haven't bought the game yet, and probably won't for a few months (its too nice outside, I prefer to ride my bike). So this is making me anxious for fall. I just hope you will remain motivated to continue once you've achieved your first win. Go Tissot! |

@Sutty: Yeah, my season plan is not so good, as the riders are too tired during the second part of the season.
@Goldberg: Thanks, currently I've got the time to have a high pace, but once I start working again I'll have to slow down a bit. Still I'll advance as much as I can, and hope I'll continue for a long time |

Swiss NC
Welcome to this years Swiss national championships. Let's see how well the riders from Tissot will do today.
The race is hilly with a rather flat finish, so there are a few favourites in the team. Let's get right to it:
Right from the start it was Schelling who tryed his luck with a breakaway today. The group of 3 worked well together creating a reasonable gap between them and the peloton.
Not too long after it was Pache who descided he wanted to join the breakaway.
90 km to go: The breakaway has a lead over the peloton, but they don't seem to get along and so Tissot picks up the pace back in the peloton to catch up to them.

80 km left: The riders are back at level terms again.
66 km: Attack by Frank (BMC) and Tschopp (IAM). With Tissot making the work back in the peloton it seems the situation is unter control though.
40 km to go: The two riders are just 1 minute ahead of the small peloton. Tissot is still keeping the pace up.
32 km left: Reichenbach attacks, together with Fumeaux he's now chasing down the escapees. It looks like noone from the peloton reacts.
22 km to the line: With Reichenbach closing in Frank (BMC) attacks.
15 km to go: Reichenbach is still 1:20 behind. he's upping the pace now, but Fumeaux can't keep up with him anymore. He's on his own now.

9 km left: Tschopp (IAM) attacks, Frank (BMC) is just a couple hundered meters behind, Reichenbach is closing in, but it might be too late for the man from Tissot.
5 km left: Reichenbach reaches Frank (BMC). Tschopp (IAM) is still a little ahead.
2 km to the line: Reichenbach closes in on Tschopp (IAM). He launches his final sprint now. Does he have the power left to become the new Swiss Champion?

100 meters to the line: Reichenbach is the new swiss champion! What a victory!

Great first vicotry for Reichenbach and for the whole team Tissot! Their work payed off and Reichenbach is certainly a deserving Swiss Champion.

there seems to be a problem... Looks like the road race I just won was actually the Swiss ITT race. Will have to see what the heck is going on there tomorrow... |

Great win!!! The only reason I think you're not winning more is you're sprinting too early, I always try to hold it until 1km or even closer to the line on an uphill finish. Try to stay in the lead group, not attack from it, as it wastes precious energy and barely ever works.
But again, congrats one the first of many wins and really loving it so far. |

Great win!
You just won the most important race of the season for your team!
I'm playing with IAM in my career so I share your love for Reichenbach!! He's always up there bringing good results in!
Keep up the good work and hopefully the high frequency with which you post! I enjoy following this story! |

It's the best victory I could've gotten, so it was well worth waiting for it for half a season
Even if it's just the ITT Swiss champion, makes me wanna become double swiss champion with Reichenbach |
