PATCH NOTES 1.0.2.0:
[3D]
- Fixed : on certain configurations, there could be a random crash during the 3D race loading or at the end of a race.
[GAMEPLAY/AI RACE]
- Fixed problem: it's sometimes too easy to win with an outsider : you attack ; in the following group, everybody counts on the big favorite to work,
but he doesn't want to work alone, so nobody works. The fix is : now riders attack in a group when nobody works!
- Fixed problem: when an AI refuses to relay with a human raton, the player receive no information
- Fixed problem: still some attacks of leaders on the flat before a climb
[CAREER]
- Fixed problem: it was impossible to renew our riders' contracts when our sponsor was still with us on the next year.
- Fixed problem: bad trainer assignation (career table squad)
- Fixed problem: empty list of rider prior to a 3d race or simu.
- Fixed problem: young riders could have a bad specialisation
[MULTIPLAYER]
- Fixed problem : it was impossible to view all the player's tours due to a missing component in the UI.
- Fixed problem : filters with several attributes did not work properly.
[DATABASE]
- Improvement : Adjustment to rider's attributes
[STAGES]
- Fixed problem: On stage 2 of Vuelta ciclista a Mallorca, there was a building across the road.

Is someone having trouble with the "²" button ? Sometimes it displays the circle, sometimes the name, sometimes both (when you hold the button you can change the displaying). Is there a trick (haven't played PCM 2012) or is this a bug ? |

Not sure if this is a bug or i have bad luck, but in mountain stages, when entering in the decisive mountain, even if i have my best rider well placed, he gets blocked by AI most of the times and fall to the back of peloton. So annoying.. |

Ye , really , happened in PCM12 sometimes ,also. And sometimes it works fine (disabling and enabling both).
How can we "solve" this?

When trying to load a replay, the game closes. Huge problem, for story-writers, who depend upon the replays.
Beside that, Cyanide needs to do something about the whole replay-experience. It is so annoying, that you can't get any information on how much of that stage there is left and so on. |

Mines still working, although a few of the GUI things shuch as flags and images for wheels etc are either not appearing or are appearing as purple boxes. A minor issue though |

I'm currently playing the Toiur de France in carreer mode, I win the intermediate sprint with Bouhanni, get a message saying I've won the sprint with Bouhanni, yet Gerrans who finished 2nd get the 20 points and I only get 17? This has also happend in some of the other stage races with mountain points. Game is fully updatet btw.

I have not yet the game but it should be an issue with the classification files. Do you have some XML files into a 'classifications' folder in your game directory? If yes, try to edit them to affect correct sprint points. |

I just played the Scheldeprijs and due to the wind the peleton broke into 3 parts. But the last part lost his motivation to chase back really soon because all the riders were saying that their team have a riders in front.
Even the second group with Cavindish stoped chasing (for the same reason) when they lost arround 2min and they rode at 30km/h to the finish.
It's really not realistic that there is a group of more than 50 riders is spread over the road and drive 30km/h.

Ok can someone help me! My download has finally completed so time to get patches and databases downloaded and installed. However I have a few questions.
a) Since my download was through steam will that update the game with the patches created on here?
b)Just what databases do I need, I have read so many problems with the games and little things that I am literally clueless.
I am aware I will need the PCMdaily real database for the actual real names of the riders, but I have also seen stuff about rider type (i.e. loads of cyclists being labelled as TT riders even though they are not) etc etc.
Do we know if someone will do one big update pack for this?! If not what do I download instead of or in the meantime. |

Ok, i've had a look at the xml files and everything apears to be in order. Aparently, after the race looking at the result screen everything looked fine, I've got my 20 points and Bouhanni was back in the green jersey. Problem was in the sprint screen during the race.
But then there seems to be another problem. Now looking at the result screen Pinot now is 4th, wich is correct, but his time is -14s (should be around +1.30m) |

To some extent it is, though. I'm not saying it's good that Cavendish stops riding when he loses the peloton, but that last group, for example. If the wind is high and they are lost behind, irl that group will just abandon (in a classic, not stage race), so instead of abandons, which would require tougher programming, they just let the riders take it easy.
But I agree that this is not something for Cavendish (though it depends on the situation, too) |

I have been riding some smaller stage races (Tour Down Under, GP Besseges, Tour de Mediterrane), and chasing for the mountain jersey. On a lot of stages with two+ mountain sprints I have noticed a bug. On the first mountain sprint, the AI doesnt seem to be interested in points for the mounbtain jersey (I win the sprint by simply using "infinite relay" . But when it comes to the second (or the last mountain sprint if more than 2 sprints), the AI seems to always be attacking for the points, even if I have already won the jersey. Quite annoying, as it seems to have no meaning.
Also, the AI often seems uninterested in taking relays when going downhill. |

This might be because at the first KoM/sprint the other riders in the breakaway have no points collected yet. So no interest.
At the 2nd sprint they already have collected the points at the first and so they are more interested. |

It is recommended to let Steam download and install the patches.
You only need to download the daily realname DB.
Generally it takes a while to find all problems and then to fix them. During this time, you might need to install patches or new DBs constantly, also you might need to restart the careers. Either live with it or wait with playing a career until it is stable.

I don't think the KOM sprints are a general problem. At least in my experience the AI riders behave totally unexpected on these sprints. This is fine for me because I cannot use the same tactic over and over again and gain the points too easy.

The crashing. Quite a few people seem to have a point where their career crashes and mine is 17 Feb in my career as Garmin. Really annoying. |

While I mostly agree, I find it a bit silly when 5-10 really strong climbers sprint for the last mountain point after a break has passed through, early on a stage. This happens very often, and realistically those riders (often captains) would conserve energy for climbs later on. |
