sutty68; Yes, especially because there were many good teams. The riders were compared to irl not very strong, but we aren't as well.

Gotta love the team spirit, getting into all these breaks. Team is doing a lot of races for a 'small team' I think! |

The Rider: Yes, we'll ride a lot of races. That's also good for our riders so they can get some experience. And as a Dutch cyclist (don't know who) said once: 'When you're not in the breakaway, you have to chase.'
By the way: The results are added at the Montepaschi Strade Bianche report. I found out that I didn't forget to export this one so here they are.

Le Tour de Langkawi – Stage 9
Stage Preview
After the breakaway of yesterday, we wanted to be in the breakaway today too. So, as many times this season, we attacked. Webb and Rodrigues both failed to get into the breakaway, but Sobczyk succeeded.
He was in a breakaway of three riders. At that moment, we already passed the first intermediate sprint. But Sobczyk won the mountain sprint and the second intermediate sprint. With twenty kilometres to go, three riders from the peloton attacked. They got the three cyclists at the leading, but the peloton caught them with eight kilometres to go. The peloton was riding such a high tempo that our riders weren’t able to follow, so they finished in the middle of the peloton.
Kluge was by far the best sprinter today. He won the stage with a big gap to the number two. Not a bad stage for us, with the win in two of the three intermediate sprints. Tomorrow is the last stage, so we’ll try to be in the breakaway then too.

Le Tour de Langkawi – Stage 10
Stage Preview
Already the last stage of this year’s Tour de Langkawi. A short stage, of only 95 kilometres. And we really wanted to be in the breakaway, but today it went wrong. Everything.
The peloton was chasing the breakaway, but at a moment, they stopped. There was no rider of us in there, so Freire attacked and tried to get in the breakaway. But he wasn’t able to get there, although he could see them. He stopped chasing them at thirty kilometres before the finish. The peloton caught him, but the annoying part was that they didn’t caught the breakaway! And of course was today one of the few days when we had no rider in the breakaway.
Rogers saw his chance to take some seconds, so he attacked. But the peloton caught him in the sprint.
Mironov was the fastest of the breakaway today, the peloton followed at 38 seconds. We were kind of angry that we were not there today. But the good news is that we had three riders with a good classification: Rogers finished fourteenth, Burton finished eighteenth and Hill finished twentieth. We’re happy with those positions, but we also have a small problem; we have no races anymore this month. We hoped to start at the Settimana a Coppi et Bartali, but they refused our appeal. Maybe we’ll start at the Ronde van Drenthe, but we don’t know it yet.

sutty68: Yes, it's great that our riders finished that high with such low mountain stats.
welker3257: Yeah, I hope as well. Too bad we may not participate at the Settimana a Coppi et Bartali. We really want to race, so the Ronde van Drenthe seems to be the best option.

Ronde van Drenthe – Stage 1
Stage Preview
At the last moment we decided to participate at the Ronde van Drenthe. We wanted to race, so we did. The unlikely part is that in both stages cobbles are, but we have to live with that. So, as always, we attacked. Watson got into a breakaway, which was good news for us. We wanted to win the intermediate and the mountain sprints. We had difficulties with the intermediate sprints, but the mountain sprints were better for us.
Here, Watson won the first mountain sprint. He was in a really good form today, and we liked that. And then, the second mountain sprint; Watson attacked, and won the sprint.
But he didn’t stopped attacking, he was going further. The guys behind him were hesitating; it was only ten kilometres till the finish yet! The peloton was too late to take the breakaway. Watson was great! 20 seconds, 25 seconds, 30 seconds... And then it stopped, or not yet? 33 seconds, 35 seconds, 37 seconds, 41 seconds! He’ll get this. He was in the last three kilometres! But the three riders behind him were sprinting and they were coming close, very close. The gap was getting smaller and smaller. Would he take it? Would he take the win? The first win for our team?
YESSSS! HE DID! HE DID TAKE THE WIN! We’re so happy with this! The riders behind him were not close enough and finished 17 seconds behind him. O, man, we were very nervous that last kilometres. From the moment he attacked, till the moment he finished. What a race, what a win!
AAAAND here he is; the winner of today! Ian Watson, eighteen years old, takes the first win for Hot Wheels – Porsche! And besides that, he took all the other jerseys!
We also took the lead in the team classification. What a great day for us!
And of course we’ll keep this edition of L’Equipe! Difficult day tomorrow with all the cobbles, but it would be great if we can hold the leader jersey!

What he said. But substitute the words 'are' and there'!
Great victory, four years ahead of schedule or so!
