Also possible that Stybar and Vandenbergh wweren`t able to follow the Chavanel group.
They are still solo in between and not back to Boonen.

I don't think so. They were clearly looking back and waiting for Boonen.
But doesn't really matter now, it's game over.

Nah, they both pulled out at the same time, when they realized Boonen is not there.

Spartacus is still gaining time over the others.
They are riding for 2nd obviously now..
They are riding for 2nd from the very moment Cancellara got 10s.
I'm doing the hunger knock dance, but I doubt it'll work.

Sagan / Chavanel group gaining slightly on Spartacus
Still can't see any reason why Thomas refuses to help

After being dropped eventually. Of course you would check where the next leader is to help him then. |

Group Boonen apparently closing the gap to group Sagan, this is not over yet. Group Sagan also closing in on Cancellara now, and 23 km is a long way.
Well nevermind? Times not that reliable...

He wants to be 2nd. It's called the Samuel Sánchez syndrome.

Group Boonen is G5 or so. G3 is 30s behind Sagan, G4 another 15s and G5 more than a minute I guess. |

There was Quickstep pulling as soon as Cance got away, suddenly they stopped pedaling and dropped back...

What's the point of Thomas pulling anyway. It's not like they will catch Cancellara now.

And Stybar is still hanging between Sagan and Boonen group. It's not like he stopped to wait for Boonen. He's clearly trying to get to Sagan group but dont think will succeed |

We probably need to wait for the interviews to clarify this.
But if they wanted to wait for Boonen it`s weird that they first work 2-3km when Boonen was not in that group. It`s not like they could have overseen him in such a small group. |

Not now, they shoul all cooperate as soon as he escaped. Now Thomas will be 3rd at best.
