Ian Butler's The Mole | Beta Version - Stage 3: The Race
Daggen
It feels like its takin a year to get started since you're doing the next thingamajig next year

Ian Butler
Oh like that Pfft
Well, yeah. Like I said, this time of the year.
Hope you're patient enough, though Wink

sutty68
When is it going to continue Ian Frown

Ian Butler
In the New Year.
Without pointing fingers, only need the order from fernando97, Hungry Hunyak.

sutty68
So in 2013 we will find out who is the Mole, looking forward to that Pfft

Indeed Pfft
If I don't have all orders in by 1st of January, I'll race it anyway Smile

Jakstar22
Come on guys. Last day. Everyone should be up till midnight so plenty of time.

sutty68
No excuses anymore, we have to keep this going Wink

Ian Butler
All tactics are in. Now it's just a matter of finding time to race it! (I'm giving the edge to my new story, but I'll definitely find time somewhere soon)

Stage 3: The Race

A real tough stage today. Many hills and not a meter flat.

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol01_zps71b87b47.jpg

The Smurf tried to counter the first attacks, but he simple lacked energy. No breakaway for him today.

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol02_zpsdb0940a9.jpg

Fast Joe went back regularly to get water bottles.

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol03_zpsd3971c8f.jpg

But he wasn't the only one. Also The Raging Bull provided the team with water once in a while.

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol04_zpse55413a7.jpg

When the breakaway started gaining times, Fast Joe and The Giant started chasing.

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol05_zpsfb057d8a.jpg

Big Chief stayed at the front constantly, here being protected by The Smurf

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol06_zpsb185f7c4.jpg

The hard work payed of and 2 members of the breakaway were caught. Only 4 left!

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol07_zpsb2c781c4.jpg

In the middle of the big climb, water reserves were low. The Wild One went back for water and barely made it back to the front. The pace was immensely high!

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol08_zpsfa5917ac.jpg

The Goat went on to protect the leader, while Fast Joe threw himself in the descent.

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol10_zps8a2bf5b3.jpg

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol11_zps58ebf324.jpg

But on the final big climb, The Goat started ripping the peloton to pieces, or at least, he tried!

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol12_zps72ceda64.jpg

His effort was only enough to split the peloton into a 74 man pack.

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol13_zps52e0b2a7.jpg

Hungry Hunyak was hungry and attacked out of the pack!

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol14_zps759e2e20.jpg

... Only to get caught kilometers later.

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol15_zpsbe642f4b.jpg

With 5km left to go, Big Chief thought he'd get some glory for the team. But his attack didn't work out, he never broke free.

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol16_zps7cbdbeeb.jpg

And so the team didn't meet the requirements of the day, and Andy Schleck easily took the win.

i1248.photobucket.com/albums/hh490/IanButlerPCM/mol17_zpscef9a16d.png

Some decent sprinting put Hungry Hunyak and Big Chief in the top 20 of the day.
