admittedly mine are very basic, just the break, who wins the sprints, then a bit more detail in the final 20k's or so.
yours have a lot more information. But i have written lots of reports for stories as well so i have a clear system and order to how i do it

Tour Down Under - Stage 6

this 88km criterium is might look easy on first look but the junior race that happend before the race was marked by a lot of crashes so the GC might not be a 1-2 for Sky Pro Cycling. and before the breakaway is formed we hear over the radio that the first rider has fallen: Navardauskas (BMC). Ian Stannard (SKY) falls some time later

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/TourDownUnder-Stage5favorieten.png

the breakaway consisted of M. De Maar (AST), R. Plaza (LAM), Bertagnolli (BMC), T. Dall'Antonia (LIQ), B. Hermans (RSH), J. Bakelandts (OLO), J. Marycz (SAX), J. Bobridge (ALM), A. Lund (LEO)

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/PCM0107.png

Frank Schleck (LEO) surprises everone with an attack, not something that you see from him everday. A. Txurruka (EUS), I. Keisse (QST) and A. Lund (LEO) follows him.
The next rider that hits the grond is B. Vandborg (SAX) again everbody avoided him.
the group of four has found the breakaway mainly thanks to Lund (LEO).

while Matthew Wilson (GRM) hits the ground, 2 guys go try to get in the break aswell: Brutt (KAT), Klier (VCD). however this only results in the breakaway being caught.

intermediate sprint 1: Bertagnolli (BMC), Bakelandts (OLO), Marycz (SAX)
mountain sprint 1: Hermans (RSH), Lund (LEO), Keisse (QST)
intermediate sprint 2: Bertagnolli (BMC), Bakelantds (OLO), Dall'Antonia (LIQ)
mountain sprint 2: Swift (SKY), Stannard (SKY), Fischer (QST)

another rider hits the ground and this might results in Sky not winning this stage: Ben Swift (SKY) is the unluky one. this is not the last crash of today: V. Reynés and Hansen (OLO), Ciolek (QST), V. Kondrut (SAX), D. Pate (HTC), Chérel and Montaguti (ALM)

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/PCM0108.png

let's hope that all the crashes has happend, sadly this was not the case shortly after that Hinault, Porte, Lagutin, (ALM), Dowsett, Kroon, Hunt, (BMC), Bodnar, Ulissi, Dall'Antonia, Oss, (LIQ), Capecchi (LAM), Neyens (OLO), Dean, Wilson, (GRM) Albasini (HTC), Ventoso (MOV), Davies (VAU), Marycz (SAX) were all involved in multiple crashes but that is all behind us because we are now in the final sprint.

we see only one real train, the Rabobank own with: McEwen and Freire but Farrar (MOV) is in the Rabo's wheel

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/PCM0109.png

again the train for Rabo has failed; Freire has lost McEwen's wheel but McEwen put some distance between him and the peleton, can he hold the 1,5 k out

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/PCM0110.png

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/PCM0111.png

McEwen seems to have won with his long sprint, but has he cheered to early?

He does it, Robbie McEwen win the last stage in his home country, Hunter takes 2nd, Bazayev taking 3rd

i1302.photobucket.com/albums/ag121/SSJ2Luigi/PCM0113.png

where there are winners, there are losers, shown here with Clarke crashing within 100m from the finish and the squad's of BMC and AG2R, with both teams waiting for the leaders and Ventoso with giving up because of his crash.
