Nothing too surprising, except maybe that there are not more talents in the 'no point touching' category
Are there guys available for a PT loan? Especially Vanbilsen, Serry and van der Lijke caught my attention as possible temporary reinforcements.
You might see an offer for Van Aesbroeck at some time as well when we solved our leaders issues.

I think Kreder will want to see his "twin" in our team

Quite surprised you think about trading some of your biggest talents.
Morton is definitely a future star and also Van der Lijke is a sure stage winner.
Well Morton will only leave if either we get a decent cash sum or a rider i.e. type of Clayes/Monfort. He won't leave so freely I call tell
Lijke will likely stay, but you never know what kind of offers could come in, some could be very tempting. And this transfer period I will try to focus on possible promotion so a talent or two might go to achieve that.
Indeed cio, Vanbilsen will likely be loaned, however it depends how the cobbled situation in PCT looks like, mostly on BPost promoting or staying in the division. If Lijke stays, I might keep him this year in the team due to his versality, I mean he already got us 2 HC stage wins, if we want to promote, he will be very helpful, but there's too many ifs at this point so such deal could happen Serry will likely be loaned as well.
Better be a good one Asbroeck was on verge in getting to that first category
Seems lots of team are interested in Lijke, it is a pleasure to our ears

Depending on whether we get FA leaders or have to buy some, there might definitely be some money floating around
And who knows what swap deals might sound interesting for both sides.
I'd understand if you keep VdL, Vanbilsen and Serry are going to be high on our loan lists if we sign a leader for either terrain.

As you well know I am not part of the MG yet but if I get into it I would be interested in the riders below. Not all of them but a few in particular:
-Pavel Potocki
-Yvo Kusters
-Marc Goos
Then after those 3 the following:
-Wouter Wippert
-Tom van Asbroeck

And Boeckmans.
Interesting. Highly doubt I'll be able to afford them or do a decent swap, but I like your talents being open for offers |

No need to focus on his current salary, nearly all riders will have a different one after the negotiations

Marquez could well see some sort of approach by us, depending on the cost of our other targets.

All of the riders on the last part of your list look interesting, especially Van der Ginst. Then again, i'm not in the MG yet or anything, so i'll have to see.

With the end of a season comes a massive announcement. HTC and Het Nieuwsblad will cease to sponsor the team for the next season. Another sponsor is already lined up that will be revleaed in upcoming days. We like to thank HTC and especially Nieuwsblad for their partnership, we have started at the bottom and won the Division 2 title, this season another massive achievement was achieved by comfortably securing our place in the Continental Division for the next season for which we have already have quite big plans.
Review of our year will come be up in upcoming days. See you then.

After the major changes in cycling division system during 2007 Quickstep team has ceased to exist. The time however comes that Quickstep comes back into cycling replacing HTC and Het Nieuwsblad as the main sponsor of this upcoming and talented team for the upcoming season.

This is quite a surprise to me. Thought you would keep that pretty successful HTC/Nieuwsblad way as developing the talents will soon start to help you a lot.
So it`s of course a nice "restart" with a new sponsor and a stronger "self-developed" team. |

Ohh, now that's an interesting change. Would be interesting to see a (VW-)Mapei vs. Quickstep battle in the PCT, but it should not be. Though i wouldn't be surprised to see that battle in PT next season, given all the talent you have.

Wow, didn't see that coming Guess the mission is clear: own the cobbles!
Congrats to a pretty awesome season, by the way. Definitely a good way to sign both a bunch of huge talents and still finishing safely in the mid-ranks! Now re-sign Morton to a low contract and let him race, where he belongs
