Nice result in Norway . Happy Trentin is in a team that's doing so well this year.
Not that well actually, but now I should be clear of the relegation zone.

I have a complain. The fact that Frank was in that breakaway

Good to hear, I love his designs
I hope your leaders have some race days left, otherwise you might end up closer to relegation than anyone thought before the season.
At least I assume we're within reach of 1t4i again after Colombia.

That is awesome to hear. Probably a beautiful jersey then. No doubt.
Actually a good idea to think about mine as well. |

Just to make it clear. I'm only helping alexkr00 out this one time, because I've been helping with/doing Man Game jerseys for him for several seasons now and what he asked for, I had already done and saved in a .PSD file on my computer.
You might see another one of my shirts I did back in May/June for another Man Game team manager, at some point. But I'm not "back in business". I know I did come back before, but I won't this time.

Concerning the relegation, Gesink still has plenty of races left. Actually, he hasn't raced at all since my last posts about my hopes and plans to avoid relegation. But, Velits misfortune in Colombia might cost me some precious points.
Sorry if I misled you guys that Will is coming back for good. I'm very thankful that he found the time to help me with my team's jersey.
The jersey will be a classic 1t4i/Argos design, but it looks amazing!

Julien Simon and Project 1t4i will part ways at the end of 2013
Julien Simon didn't have the season he and the team were hoping for and now he is looking for a new contract after only one year spent with 1t4i. It's clear that the Pro Tour is a hat too big for Simon, but many people believe he would be a great rider in the Continental Tour. If Simon is really capable of leading a ProContinental or a Continental team only time will tell.
Sebastien Rosseler and Johannes Frohlinger are also very likely to leave the team, while Vaugrenard and Ten Dam's future is still uncertain.
More news on transfers will follow as we will get closer to the end of the season.

Oh, Julien Simon. He's for sure one of the riders i'd like, if i'd get in to the MG. The wage looks quite high though.

Since he didn't have any top results, he should have less demands this year.

I went that high because I thought he will bring some good results in the hilly stages. But, the PT proved competition proved to be too strong for him. Hopefully, he'll be able to do more in the CT.

A big name set to leave the team?
With the team so close to the relegation zone, it's clear that some changes must be made in the off-season. And not only small ones.
Some rumors suggest that at least one key-rider of the team will not be seen riding under the 1t4i colors in 2014. But, with Gesink having almost a life-time contract with the team, it's pretty clear that it will be either Luis Leon Sanchez or Peter Velits who will leave the team.
But which one will it be? Or maybe it will be both? Or maybe the solution will be found some place else... Stay close!

Actually, points wise, LuLu had a much better season than Velits.
And nothing is decided yet!

Robert Gesink wins the Tour of Germany
For 2013, the Deutschland Tour was brought back to the Pro Tour scene and, at least for our team, it was definitely a good move.
From the very start, it was clear that two riders will battle for overall win: Taylor Phinney and Robert Gesink. Gesink started as the underdog though, Taylor clearly being a better time - trialist.
After the first stage, it looked like Phinney had already secured the yellow jersey after taking a rather surprising stage win. But, tables turned in the team time - trial from the second stage, where Project 1t4i managed a better time than Wikipedia and put Gesink in front of Phinney in the general classification. The team missed the stage win though, which meant that Walter Pedraza was the new yellow jersey.
Two hilly stages followed and even though he looked better than Phinney, Gesink failed to gain time on the American rider. The hilly stages brought a new yellow jersey wearer though in Jan Bakelants.
With the hilly stages behind us, it was time for the queen stage of the race. It was a pretty tight race until the very end when Uran, Brajkovic and Gesink managed to create a gap to the other contenders. Uran took the stage win, Brajkovic the yellow jersey, while Gesink was now in a perfect position for the last stages of the race, only 4 seconds behind the leader. Phinney lost 26 seconds to the leading trio which put him 46 seconds behind Gesink in the overall. Everything was going to be decided in the final time - trial!
Two flat stages were still to be raced before that time - trial though. And bad luck stroke for some riders in the sixth stage, with a few big names, including Phinney being caught in a massive crash. With no big events in the seventh stage, Gesink had a rather easy task to gain 4 seconds on Brajkovic to win the race.
And the Dutchman didn't disappoint, finishing 3rd on the stage and taking the overall win by 12 seconds. Despite not shining in any particular stage, with this win and the title from Vuelta al Pais Vasco, earlier this season, Gesink finally managed to break his ManGame curse of never winning two big races in the same year.
Jelle Vanendert also had a good race, finishing 14th in the general classification. With his and Gesink's performance, plus a very good result from Joost Posthuma in the last stage, Project 1t4i also grabbed the win in the teams classification.

I am really happy for 1t4i, they are deserved part of the PT! Congrats.
Gesink is great (when he stays on the bike)
