The puncher could be a potential multi-winner, and the Polisch sprinter looks like a handy rider to have in breakaways (fighter + enough sprint to finish it) |

really cool story. those 2 under 23's are starting with pretty decent endurance and stamina, so it shouldn't be long till they get some results. |

Just came home form Slovenia, where I did my last tour before National Championships. It was pretty good. On stage 2 Huzarski and Rutkiewicz attacked on last hill and managed to came 2nd and 3rd. Unfortunately on next stage Rutkiewicz, who was among the favourites, got injured. Diagnosis was patellar tendon tear and that means it was his last race for Polsat Polkowice as he's gone next season due to change of sponsor.
Last Rutkiewicz's platform place for Polsat Polkowice as he coming 3rd behind Bartosz Huzarski.
There was pretty interesting fight for a mountain jersey. Kwiatkowski did very well on stage 1 winning most of them, but with each next race his advantage was melting away. However he managed to hold the jersey with just 2 points lead to Maxim Belkov.
Huzarski was ranked 4th before final - time trial - stage. He was in great form this day and managed to get 16th time of the day, what moved him to 2nd place in GC. Castraviejo won the stage with just 2-second lead. Kwiatkowski came 4th.
Jonathan Catroviejo on his way for another ITT win.
Tour de Slovenie (2.1)
Overall: 2nd Huzarski
Points: 6th Kwiatkowski, 7th Castroviejo
Mountain: 1st Kwiatkowski
Young: 9th Kwiatkowski
Team: 10th

Your GC's are getting better every month. Nice to see how much you improved your team so far. How many riders do you want to have next season? You want to split it again in 2 selections? |

I'm affraid it's just coincidence with that GC Mico. And when it comes to transfers I'm gonna precisely review my finances just after NC, to see how much exactly I can spend, and post it here. I definitely want 2 top class sprinters (If they only agree to ride for my team), 2 decent climbers and few TT/FL riders. I guess I'll be getting around 10 riders in total. And yes - still gonna do the groups.

Mistrzostwa Polski went great for me again. In fact that was my best one so far. Both races occured in rain but that didn't confuse the results. Once again Michal Kwiatkowski was uncongested during the time trial, winning with over a minute lead, but it was other CCC's riders who did unexpectedly well. Maciej Bodnar came 3rd, youngster Olszewski was 5th (proving that one day he can go for gold) and Huzarski finished on 6th place. The only disappointment came from Tomasz Kiendys who was 15th.
Michal Kwiatkowski giving no chance to his rivals and securing 4th win in a row.
Road race was bit different this year. There was only one rider (Wojciech Halejak from Bank BGZ) who tried to breakaway. I followed him with Huzarski, Kiendys and Bodnar. Hoping for another sprint win by Kiendys I was protecting him with Bondar and Huzarski was a pacemaker. With peloton dominated by Bank BGZ and CCC Polsat Polkowice riders it keept slow pace. With 30 km to go I decided to attack with Huzarski to see what will happen. Halejak didn't go after him staying with Kiendys and Bodnar in E2 and Huzarski took a solo win with nearly 8 min lead. The E2 sprint has been won by Kiendys who was leaded out by Bodnar, Halejak came 3rd and Bodnar took 4th place.
Solo win by Bartosz Huzarski.
E2 sprint finish.

Ok, it's 1/07/2015 - the day I was waiting for 4 years. Transfer window is opened and I finally have some spending money, as my deal with new sponsor is already signed in. Before I start my transfer spree I decided to check my finances, to see how much money I can safely spend and I have to say I'm pretty happy with the results. Here's my budget for next season.
Mercedes-Benz: €3.041.000
Polkowice: €156.000
-------------------------------
Total: €3.197.000
That comes to €266.417 a month. So...
Sponsors: €266.417
Staff: -€21.500
Wages: -€32.750
-----------------------
Total: €212.167
And that's my spending money for next season. Seems unreal compared to last 4 years where I could mostly afford €2.000 riders, and spending €8.000 on one was top of extravagance. Transfer update coming soon. |

Unfortunately many riders I was interested in (mostly Germans) eighter didn't want to ride for my team or they renewed their contracts already. But that isn't my main concern. The biggest problem is, that despite spending only €59.500 out of my €212.167 resources, my sponsor won't let my sign more riders as they let me to offer stunning quotes like €700 or even €0 to particular riders. I have no idea why is that, but because of that I'm left without climbers for next season. Anyway these are the guys I managed to sign.
The only German and well knowned sprinter - Gerald Ciolek - €15.000.
My main sprinter for next season - young and talented 23 years old Arnau Demare - €25.000.
Time trial specialist and valuable part of train - American Ben King - €3.000.
Very talented (I hope) Bulgarian sprinter / lead out, that I was trying to sign last season - Oleg Krivenco - €9.500.
Another time trial / train specialist - 27-year old Italian Adriano Malori - €2.000.
And one more flat stage / TT rider - Alex Rasmussen - €5.000.
Sorry for not signing Jens Voigt Ian, but he's already 42.
I wish I could sign more Germans as I'm pretty sure Mercedes-Benz won't be too happy seeing only one domestic rider but I'm affraid they won't let me sign anyone else, which is totally incomprehensible to me. It looks like I will have to invest rest of the money in trainers, scouts and possibly first doctor ever in CCC.

Int. Osterreich-Rundfahrt started very promising with 3 places in top 5 (3. Aliu, 4. Castroviejo, 5. Huzarski). Then on 2 stage fighting for KoM jersey Jonathan Castroviejo ended up in successful breakaway and lost just by a bike lenght.
Castroviejo losing battle for the 1st place.
On 5th stage Nunez came 5th. Stage 6 ended up with successful breakaway that Lodewyck was part. He finished 2nd just behind Michael Humbert.
Austrian TT wasn't as generous for me, as other ones with Kwiatkowski finishing 7th, Castroviejo 12th, and Bodnar 13th. On last 7th stage (the only flat one) my sprinter Nunez came 7th.
Int. Osterreich-Rundfahrt (2.HC)
Overall: 9th Aliu
Points: 3rd Castroviejo, 5th Nunez, 7th Lodewyck
Mountain: 1st Castroviejo
Young: 3rd Aliu
Team: 3th
Next in calendar - Tour de Pologne, where there's only one sure thing - Rutkiewicz won't repeat his last year success, as he's injured.

Due to my sposnor's ridiculous limits I decided to sign few scouts, 2 German cyclists that are willing to ride for €2.000 (as that's all I can offer) and 2 youngsters.
