I'm tired of these crashes. It's part of the sport, I know, but I can't remember a stage without them, and not having bad consequences... |

Well, Goss will get his stage win today then I guess.

Wasn't that Rolland? Then he's out too.

I think Greipel is still in the peleton, but he isn't going to sprint is he?

They weren't involved in just this particular crash. I'm talking about the panicky and insecure way the peloton has been riding this week in fear of a mass crash. I blame the GC teams for that, because they are pushing to ride in the front at all times. There's not enough space for that on the road, and therefore they cause more crashes.
This particular crash wasn't directly in the front of the peloton. It's so obvious that the peloton has been riding extremely anxious and insecure all week. This insecurity is caused by the behaviour of the GC teams.
In short: GC riders wannabe at front -> more crashes -> peloton feels insecure -> even more crashes. |

Chavanel can't sprint and there are too many GE riders left to attack here.
What was that Astana car doing?!

This tour is already ruined. The boring riders stay upright to fight their boring TT-batltle. |

Movistar gives Schleck and Co. a lift. Just let them ride in the car instead, there's basically no difference from what they're doing right now.

They are riding at the front so a repeat of last year doesn't happen! Do you remember Wiggins and his broken collarbone?!?! They need to protect their GC contenders! Why are you being so ridiculously stupid? |

I don't disagree with you. Just don't blame the two top favourites for that, blame the guys who are outsiders for a top 10 who don't have to be at the front, but insist on trying anyway.
