This is one week tour..Sky can control it thrue week
I know. They did that at Paris Nice already, I guess it might be a bit ala PN 2012. Wiggins 2nd in prologue and get yellow next day.
Still, they will save more energy for Col de Joux Plane and their TT performances where Wiggo can take yellow . The question is will Durbridge even hold the jersey tomorrow. The hill isn't easy and we shouldn't see big peleton.
Durbridge has said in the post race interview that holding yellow isn't his goal, so I wouldn't be surprised if he saves energy the following days for the ITT, letting himself go instead of hanging on in the peloton.

That may be true, but I doubt he'll get dropped tomorrow. Even if he saves his legs for the time trial.
Remember, he climbed very well in California. Top 15 at Big Bear Lake and 21st on Mount Baldy. We shouldn't count on that he'll pop on tomorrow's small climb.

Sanchez falls and seems injured.
Damn, the first tour contender falls by the wayside.

Why Samu had to fall? Nobody deserves to fall but Samu deserved it the least. Especially considering the fact that this was the year where he had the best chance to at least get a podium or who knows maybe even win TDF.
World is cruel I guess. |

Good victory for Evans. Didn't expect that.

That was impressively done by Evans. Edged out both Kashechkin and Coppel even though he led for the last 500 meters.
