Absintlover, it's not bad really. We wanted to preserve energy for later stages and there was no-one dangerous in the break so we let them go.

Giro d'Italia - Stage 12 - Seravezza - Sestri Levante
With 4 categorized climbs this stage looks like a perfect stage for a break. If it came to bunch sprint, pure sprinter should be eliminated 10km from the finish with a steep little climb, it's a good place for a sneaky attack too, so Froome will have to be cautious.
Appollonio's pace in the first 20km made sure there were no breaks present. We had a plan with our young Colmbian for today.
55km in the stage the break is made. It includes Henao and other big favourite who didn't deliver so far, Mikel Nieve ( Euskaltel ). Rest of the riders shouldn't be a big threat.
With Henao and Nieve being best climbers they drop all their companions on the 2nd categorized climb today. With 70km to go we have about 7 minutes advantage.
You never know who attacked from the peleton and caught us.... Rein Taaramäe. Rein won a stage already from break and is looking by far the strongest of this trio. With 56km to go the break has 9 minutes advantage.
Rein indeed broke quite fast from Henao and Nieve and has already amazing 10 minutes advantage with 10km left over the chasing duo. Peleton is closing down and are 2 minute down on Henao & Nieve.
Rein takes a very impressive victory ! No-one could challenge him today and he made it looks easy. 2 stage wins for him, he continues he's great show after not so good first week.
On the last climb Steven Kruijswijk attacked and has a slim adnvatage over 5 chasing riders and the peleton on the downhill. We're not sure who's in the 5 riders chasing group.
We know now. Scarponi, Basso and Anton broke out and are chasing Kruijswijk. They have 20 seconds advantage with 5km to go ! Froome takes over the pace in the peleton to try and catch them.
Meanwhile Henao takes amazing 2nd place for him and a stunning podium for a Colombian today beating Mikel Nieve. Great show !
Froome work paid off quite nicely as the peleton caught the chasers. In the final sprint Igor Antón proved the fastest. Froome took it easy and came on comfortable 11th place.
One easy stage to go before the real fun begins !

Nice result with Henao, and what a win by Taaramäe!
You already know what I'm going to say about your screens...
BTW, how was your cycle trip? Hope it's gonna be good weather here in Holland someday, want to step on my bike too...

Taaramae looks very nice, but he'll suffer from this great effort. He was too strong for Henao and Nieve. |

Thanks a lot guys, Henao was indeed great but Rein was just out of this world.
Sorry for not posting stages 13 & 24, they should be up later tonight.
I was thinking about the story and decided that after finish I am not going to continues this and prepare for exams
But I will continue this career and on June 29th I am going to make Tour de France story and do each stage as Tour goes by.
After that we should have good DB to play career in PCM 12. I want to make a really long career this year and I already have 2 options left. One is Sky ( without Cav ) and few added story lines to the career. 2nd one is HTC revival in Continental level. Which one would you rather want to see guys ?

HTC revival, but with all youngsters not ex-HTC guys.
Good Luck with your exams, mine start next month so I daresay I ought to prepare. |

Team's Reaction
The stage played on me a bit so I just simulated the results. Quite a funny result but oh well, the important stage is tomorrow. The first big MTF of the Giro

OK... very realistic, Duque finishing 12 minutes in front of the pack, alone!
Anyway, GL for stage 14, the crucial phase is starting now, hope Froome shows his abilities.

Yeah, sorry for not finishing this one. With exams coming up early I couldn't play PCM much.
But if there's interest I will finish this after my last exam ends on 25th
Also I planned my long story for PCM 12, so I hope you will enjoy that one too
