Yes, but there is a big climb tomorrow and Horner is a far superior climber.
This is Tirreno. No Tour of California.. He will be lucky if he wins overall.

The final climb isn't that hard to somebody destroy anybody..

I think he probably is peaking for the tour/worlds.

Difficult to say. Is he hiding himself, to destroy everybody in MSR, or isn't he good enough. Really don't know, but I'm starting to think that his form is worrying.
But remembering last year, where the form wasn't good enough at the worlds, and seeing this years route in Valkenburg where he is the favourite, I think it's a good choice to get in form later in the year (say, De Ronde?)

The BBC's grasp of cycling is phenomenal:
Meanwhile, Wiggins's Team Sky team-mate Mark Cavendish struggled in the fourth stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico coast to coast race in Italy on Saturday.
The Isle of Man rider, outshone by Sky team-mate Edvald Boasson Hagen on Friday, came home in 146th place, leaving him 138th in the overall standings.

This after making a big deal about how EBH beat him yesterday!

Poels still did well finishing in a group with Evans/Scarponi/Rodriguez. Just some other guys stronger today. If the Lanciano was in Poels would have a better result, but he still has a chance tomorrow.
But Pinot...omg |

I didn't realise how bad Pinot did today until I looked up the results and saw that Ian Stannard is ahead of him in GC by 3 minutes ... Indeed bad, do you know if he was sick maybe or something ?

No idea. On twitter he's said the race was AGR-like, you had to be in the first 30 to hope for something, and that the stage without that mountain was not the same at all, and that he'll see tomorrow.
It's a bit weird if you ask me, as Ruben said this race is one of his objectives, and he had shown a good form earlier this year. Just not his day, or this stages are too long for him ? |

Well we will know more tomorrow. He'd lost a lot of time in the Dauphine as well in one of the easier stages and then was brilliant on the mountains. |
