Still no news about Saxo Bank's World Tour license. UCI said "end of March," and a Danish journalist says that he was told by the licence commission to call back on Friday.
A few hours later, Saxo Bank called a press conference. It might be a coincidence, and it might just be about RVV, but ... |

I think you misunderstood a little. There isn't anything attached to the front fork. UCI forbade filing of lawyer tabs (the grooves that won't let the front wheel drop off unless the eccentric is screwed really loose) from the front fork.
You're right. I couldn't translate it properly

I misread it, but compression socks were banned for quite some time now.

Erik Zabel @EteZabel
Organisators create the hardest,Most Spectacular Ronde of all Time. By far the hardest OneDayRace in the Calendar! Great for the Fans!!!
Erik Zabel @EteZabel
What Happens with Bad Weather Conditions?only 25 RIDERS reach the Finishline?we'll See Crashes&broken Bones!not the best Antidoping-Tool
Oh yes, it is going to be quite rainy/muddy on the Ronde day as it will rain few days before there. High chance of rain as well during the race, Roubaix as well

I'd rather see nice weather to be honest. Think we had some nice races so far in beautiful weather. Means the riders can focus on just going fast instead of staying upright.

Major of Oudenaarde received a letter from an angry cycling-fan who doesn't like De Ronde on new parcours. The man is going to throw nail on the road...
I hope that doesn't happen

This. Heavy rain increases the chances of serious injuries and the cyclists know it.

No. Rain improves racing in any race. And I mean any.

If you want 5 or 6 riders with broken collarbones at the end of the day, be my guest.

Then what did you mean? If you mean in terms of making it exciting and great for the spectators, I agree. Watching Gilbert in Lombardia 2010 for instance was incredible.

Exactly this. I don't know what in my post suggested that I like people falling off their bikes and suffering injuries...

EBH did a a recon ( only him ) of Roubaix today. He said he wants to get good result at Ronde, but Roubaix is his big goal this year. After that he'll try Amstel and do good result there.
Good news, Henao will start Amstel as well No idea why Uran won't, suits his abilities much better than Fleche...

Will they use all cobbles in Roubaix? Thought I heard some rumors about the Bos van Wallers being in too bad shape to ride over.

So the new sponsor for Project 1T4i is known: Argos Oil. (https://www.1t4i.com/)
Think nobody predicted this one. And now I know why benzin costs €1,85 per liter in Holland..... They had to wait untill the price got this high to earn enough money to sponsor a cycling team
