Btw, the form of the riders stays 89 for the whole race, right?
Yep I certainly haven't noticed it change on the control riders. Speaking of hte control riders, just keeping them in this race with stats like 50MTN/50HIL is proving very difficult.
Let's hope you get 'em to the end then, haha. I think a special reward is in order if you do
Great racing so far, though SotD and Festina's luck couldn't be worse. Hopefulyl Ulissi can salvage something for them.

Festina are really unlucky almost all year long. What a bad luck here in Giro for them as well.
Anyway, superb ride by Henao Montoya so far. I thought there would be much bigger time gaps in these two hilly stages. He has really nice position going into the mountains. Top 10 overall in the finish is defintely possible.

Another good ride from Ricco and the team, although i'm slightly worried about Sella now.

Ardila doing more than fine. A top 10 is really doable at the moment.

Well the first Mt stage was very interesting. Sella shows he is ready to be a major factor in this race. Ricco still looks strong and while Schleck fell back a bit, he still holds 2nd place in the GC.
Very exciting to read the stage summaries.
[AMEX is looking forward to the D2 climbing still to come]
Another very exciting report.

Confirms what I thought would happen in the mountains. 3rd place has to be the target for Schleck now and he at least has a 90 second lead on that at the moment.
Great to see the rest of my team going strong though, with Hoogerland and Samwel both just outside the Top 10 in GC - teams classification could well be possible.

Well what can be said. No matter which riders I put in the races they crash out, or get caught in a split.
I don't know if it has got anything to do with this version of the game, but jesus christ. I can't even be bothered picking out good riders anymore. My best chance of succes next year is to go for a team with 150K riders all over the line, instead of a couple of great ones. Pff.

On the whole two poor stages for Vespa. Not quite sure how Pozzovivo managed not to know there'd be attack in the closing kilometers. Podium looking like it will be beyond him.
I am enjoying seeing Cafe de Colombia attack off the front everyday. When's that rule change coming in that gives you points for being in the break? |

I'll take some of those elite riders off your hands.

Another strong ride by Henao Montoya, nice 3rd place on this stage. Hopefully he can at least repeat his 6th place overall from last year..

Not bad, a top ten ten is looking feasible again, which is nice.

SotD, you have no room to complain. Did you see what happened to Andrei Amador in that last hilly stage?

No doubt about it, we are in for a hell of a battle between Sella and Ricco. Mount Etna will give us ore answers, perhaps Ricco may be a bit more cautious there. Meanwhile the battle for the third podium spot looks wide open, I still fancy Pozzovivo though to come good.
It's a real bummer for those that have crashed, one of the hardest ManGame Grand Tours I have read that I have seen that. That does not stop though the wonderful write ups.
A thrill for me on that last stage to see young Semple in a break really looking forward to seeing that young Aussie develop.

I know you're joking but let's summarize:
Mathieau Bernaudeau is in line for Maglia Rosa, but crashes. My Milano-San Remo winner crashes, his liuetenaint Ljungqvist crashes, and one of my helpers crashes. In the next stage Markus Fothen loses touch with the front group, and on the next stage he crashes out of the Giro. All I have left is an injured Ulissi and a couple of 75-76 TT'ers. And even then, I can't be that surprised, because it has happened to me in half the races so far. How I'm not in the drop zone is anyones guess.

My Milano-San Remo winner

It swings in roundabouts, although you have had by far the worst luck in the Giro.

And before you, I was having a shocker. Then I won a stage, and now anything else is a bonus!
