I have withdrawn the news for now. They were supposed to be posted on the Cyanide forum on the same time, but since Sebduth hasn't posted anything I guess I'm not supposed to make it public yet. Will return at 21:00 at the latest, though |

Do you think Cyanide even tried to get all of the licenses?
i doubt they did, simply because i don't think DFL would've rejected them

I think they contacted some kind of teams organization who gave them permission to use correct names for the teams in that organization. |

Two weeks before the release - so probably around 8th and 10th. |

The Open Bar is a good idea, but I was happy enough with just these new screenshots!
The pre-race tactics thing looks v. exciting - worth buying the game just for that. |

unless I'm very much mistaken, the pre-race tactics are only for when you simulate a stage.
However, I do think a part of it would be good for normal 3d play...
you just can't micromanage all your riders...especially when the peloton is fragmented...

Actually i believe you can still do pre-race tactics for riders and still play the stage, but you wont be able to control them. I could be wrong, but either way its a good feature. I was saddened by sprinters not getting in the mix and people losing time on not-so-hard hill stages. |

that would be pretty good. I wonder if CrueTrue can confirm this?

what bugged(pun not intended) me more was that on every stage that was classified as hilly, the favorites would always attack.
This, in stages that in real life would be those kind of "let the breakaway win with 10 mins lead" stages.
Also, even if the finale was completely flat, they'd still attack. and you would never catch them...it would never end in a bunch sprint...
hope they fixed that, but sincerely doubt it |

Yes that hill thing so annoyed me! Especially when i simulated those stages, for some reason people like Cunego/Di Luca/Valverde would win by like 5 minuted or more! So unrealistic... then i would have to actually play them and it would just be a sprint or breakaway success |

About the pre-race tactics: I said somewhere that you could also use pre-race tactics for non-simulated stages. That was removed in the latest beta, though, so it's not possible at the moment. |

It's going to be released when it's finished. Plakker is doing all he can, but either it's tonight or we have to wait a few days |
