Hushovd attacking on the flat part of the climb. A smart move.

Until, 5km from now, when he tires out.

Quite smart. Specially since he's an awesome descender, starting the climb with a bit of an advantage is really good for his stage win chances.

Hushovd is in great shape, in yesterday's interview with norwegian tv, he said he was very tired, just to send one of the commentators a text message later to say he feels great this long into the Tour.
It should be a very interesting climb for the breakawayriders. Moncoutie should be the strongest climber, but he will need some time on the top, if he wants to ride solo from there. |

Yes the last part of the climb is the steepest ! But a really strong move from Hushovd. When he can hold the pace he is the man for the stage victory. |

Boasson Hagen is also going strong, following Moncoutie.
Aubisque is great, but with norwegian glasses now, it's a shame there is still 10km+ to the top of it |
