Apparently Wouter's crash had nothing to do with the dangerousness of the descent. It was just a horrible accident. Tondo's Tragedy was due to the accident as well

Todays crash was all about wet/dry roads by the looks of it.
Quick change from a dry road to a wet road. Wheel slides, bang you are down.

The amount of crashes does suck though.
There's no point slapping a schleck - Sean Kelly on "Who needs a slap"
