How many points are in this "mountain" ?
Only 1, to the first rider over the top.
Doesn't Gilbert already have 1 point? Will that mean he keeps the shirt?
Whoever wins today's KoM sprint gets the jersey, if I'm not mistaken.
But how can that be? In previous seasons you defended the jersey by being the first to grab the amount of points levelled by another.
As far as Im aware its:
- Who has the most points
Then, if equal:
- Who has won the most climbs
If still equal
- Who is best placed in GC
Scratch that. According to commentary, it is who won the most recent one. So, Delage.

Liquigas main team in trouble there I'd say.
It'll all come back though.

least it wasnt a repeat of 2009 when the whole htc team and a few other riders broke the peleton to bits in the wind. |

Which is what i first thought They might have changed it to most recent though as of this year, alongside the changing of points allocations - that way it encourages those in the break to go for it.
We'll see come the end of the stage though!
