That what I like most about this season. clearer goals. Id hope Crommy et al. has the energy to expand on that next year. Id have loved more goals.

I didnt counter it because I had misunderstood the steal rules a little, in that i thought 1 steal was worth several bids on the same rider.
Now I know that each bid counts as a steal attemp, so i would just have countered.
Its not as if I dont have the money, and he is rather great, and he id going to be a pain to replace!
The worst part: I dont really like mr Menchov!
i'm now confused if i attempt to steal Lance Armstrong for example, and I offer 300,000, but his owner blocks it by offering a higher salary, that counts as one steal attempt, then if I offer 400,000 does this count as my second and final attempt, or as part of the first attempt?

Sigh... Am i the only one who cant wait till monday for all the chaos to start up again?
Im endlessly planning my new riders, and I have made a prioritized list of 15-20 tiders I want, and more or less what im prepared to pay for them. So get ready for a flurry of bids when we reopen :-)
In other news, If anyone want to sell any hilly og MO riders. Or if they are danish and they dont suck, I want them too :-D
I too have planned endlessly, with many more than 15-20 riders, so that i have some for any price range, and some who's stats are just decent, but i am fond of to fill out my roster as domestiques for 30,000.
You heard it hear first, I will go in a controlled and carefully budgeted kamikazee plan.

I think so.
It would be the only fair way to implement the rule...

Sure - they are a brilliant extension and they do spice up the transfers a bit too.
I think the prizes that are paid for achieving them are a bit too low, however. As you receive 100 k for it - the prize for a domestique...
It propably has to do with the transfer market running wild, but I still think it's a shame. 100,000 euro isn't that much a deal, really. |

the more I think about it, the more the prices are reasoable.
Most teamsneed around 5-7 riders and have 2-3 million to do it with. That should be around 4-500.000 pr rider to spend on them. And the very best could end up costing double that!
Which is Ok i my book, since those high wages isnt only wages, they are also sign on fees etc. So if I sign a rider for 600k now I only expect to pay him like 300k next year...

So you want more money available, meaning more transfer chaos?
Dave, the rule is:
Each team can only attempt to steal 2 riders from different teams - this is to prevent absolute chaos ensuing
If your steal on a rider is blocked, you may increase your offer and it will not be a new attempt as the crucial part of the rule is that you are limited to 2 riders - its an unlimited amount of attempts on that rider though.

Thanks for your honesty. I must have missed that one
We appreciate honesty so much, you will still have 2 steal atempts as a reward
