You may well be right threr levi, Maes does go pretty close to Sagan and the bike only moves away as Maes does

How can someone suggest that Sagan did it on purpose .Are you guys idiots? Why would he do that?
Go Roman!

i don't think he kicked his bike away, the pedal just didn't came loose instantly, which made it look like a kick, while actually he just got stuck in the pedal, the bike got pulled away by the quick-stepper..
It is actually looking like he sees the riders behind him and thinking i should make myself as small as possible so he lift his legs up in the air, instantly lifting his bike with him, which was actually a good thing
but that is just a bit my point of view |

I'd just put it down to a racing incident, personally. Anyone who's crashed at speed near to that knows that you simply become a passenger, until the momentum dissipates.
Levi's explanation seems pretty likely, too. Looks like it. |

Voeckler admitted he was aware of the huge rise in the French television viewing figures for Monday’s stage of Paris-Nice. On Monday the finish was seen by 1.236 million people on France Television with an average number of 855,000 viewers during the stage. That is five times more than the equivalent stage last year.
This is good news

if you would care to read every single post before shouting off you would have seen that not one person has said he meant to bring down several riders. what we are saying is he intentionaly rolled over with his bike attached to him which caused the accident.
i don't agree with the momentum theory. he had practically come to a stop and the bike was travelling in completely the opposite direction. the momentum of the bike would have caused him to spin around, not roll over.
yes it was a split second decision, but he should have the experience to know that when you go down in a bunch just make yourself small and hope for the best. if anyone hits you its not your fault just a sporting incident.
by rolling over he has caused the crash and is 100% to blame. |

That is your point of view, for me the bad one. I agree rather with Levi

If anyone is to blame it's the race organisers for creating such a dangerous finale. It's a miracle only 4 riders crashed. |

Galimzyanov is out of the race, he wasn't feeling well.
Pauriol looks like his going for mountain jersey. He takes many points today.
Breakaway: Pauriol, Voeckler, De Greef, Di Gregorio & Thomas De Gendt.
The peloton has the breakaway under control though. Surprised to see De Gendt out there
The Heroes: Domenico Pozzovivo & Igor Antón Hernandez

He got bonus seconds, so if Goss doesn't podium he may well take the jersey back

Yeah, it would be cool if De Gendt takes it back, but I think that Goss wins again today.

Goss was in trouble in the Climb , and the breakaway and De Gendt looks very good. |

The frenchies are not doing anything at all... De Gendt is pulling more than everyone of them combined.
