WADA can also appeal - same deadline? I don't know.
In other news, Bjarne Riis denies the report about Cancellara using a special oil (and the other stuff). He says that Cancellara worked with the guy behind the system back in the Basso-era, but that he definitely wasn't using his products last year. |

I don't understand why everyone is immediately denying that Cancellara's bike had some technical advancement. It just doesn't seem like an issue to me.

Hmm I'm hesitant about the idea of running the entire sport as a business. The first thing that comes to mind is that it may not help for fighting against doping. Indeed, but it'd fight efficiently against doping scandals, even more than UCI does. FIFA-like, most likely.
True I hadn't considered that. However, I'd still rather prevention over punishment if possible. Or both together, that would be nice for a change. |

Replace "oil" with "blood doping" |

Philip Nielsen has been cleared.
He tested positive for clenbuterol (along with Alessandro Colo) in Vuelta a Mexico. Colo received a 1-year-ban, but Philip Nielsen won't receive any ban at all.
On the strict liability argument, it's said that Nielsen didn't have a chance of knowing the risks of eating meat in Mexico (where above 20 % of the meat is contaminated).
----
So, as I've said before: If you want to dope with clenbuterol, go to Mexico or China.
But wasn`t Nielsen doing a hair test like Ovtcharov did?
I am quite sure I read about this fact somewhere. So both of them were spoken free after this test, while all the other Clenbuterol positives including Contador never offered to do this test. So they are obviously afraid of the result as it would be much easier than buying several lawyers... |

WADA has more time. I don't remember how much though, but I think they have two weeks more.
On the private cycling whatever: I can't think on a better way to get away from WADA's dirty hands. And it's logical, since, and it's a shame, those WADA guys can't dream big. They don't believe in miracles. |

Didn't see any report on that. Wasn't mentioned in the press release either. |

Scott will be the bike supplier of the GreenEDGE Cycling Team that's set to start racing in 2012.
The team is hopeful of getting a ProTeam license, but as we saw with Pegasus, a lot can happen
That said, I personally have a lot more confidence in GreenEDGE. |

Bikes and equipment for a value around 500.000 Euros were stolen from Team Type 1, and forced their withdrawal from Coppi e Bartali.

Bastards.
Let's hope they're properly insured I'd hate to be TT1's financial manager right now. |

Sky has unveiled their April line ups.
Looks like they want to do really well in Pais Vasco, but throughout all the races they have strong squads.
Steve Cummings, Simon Gerrans, Christian Knees, Thomas Löfkvist, Lars-Petter Nordhaug, Michael Rogers, Rigoberto Urán, Xabier Zandio

Hoste crashed out in Three Days of De Panne loosing at least one tooth, while also suffering a wound above his right eye. Ouch Some awful pictures in the article.

Hang on, didn't he say that Di Luca's reduction was because he was an expert in doping, and that he (Zirbel) was innocent but didn't get a reduction because he doesn't know anything about doping? |

The Tour of Japan (15.-22.05.) is fold because of the tsunami. The infrastructure is too much damaged. |

UCI say no positives found at Paris Nice. Hope that is accurate and truth, could be why it was such a good race! |
