Hilarious how Rabobank managed to fuck that up
Great win by Ligthart!
Even a monkey knows more about cycling tactics than the Rabobank managers. Happy for Ligthart though.

I believe the Brit group is: Dowsett, Thomas, Wiggins, Kennaugh, Froome, Stannard (Sky), House (Rapha), Partridge, Wilkinson (Endura), Bibby (Motorpoint), Lampier (SigmaSport), and Fleeman (Raleigh) - with it being unclear of Christian (100% Me) is still there, or dropped. That group having a massive lead already, the winner will be one of them
Edit: Commisaire just confirmed, Christian is dropped
Correction: Jake Martin (Pendragon) is in there, not Fleeman.
Not that it matters now, the group has split: Thomas, Wiggins, Stannard, Kennaugh, House and Bibby are clear

So Sky can only take the win. Even with Rabobank-tactics
Edit: Wagner won surprisingly clear:

It now really is just Sky. Thomas, Wiggins and Kennaugh, being chased by House, Bibby and Stannard.
@Alakagom I think theyll race it out fairly - they just want to be sure a Sky rider wins. Im sure Sky would like the jersey at the Tour with G or Wiggo - but Kennaugh has come so close for a number of years now, so he isnt going to go down without a fight
7km to go in Belgium, decent sized group still leads. Boonen and Gilbert in there.

I'm proud of Rob Ruijgh, he comes from the same Province as me (Limburg) and totally screwed up all the plans of Rabobank! |

I thought he won it from break. If Ciolek can't beat Wagner in sprint, then I don' t know what to say about his season so far

Yeah he did great.
If Rabobank is that stupid then they don't deserve to win the race. |

All the more impressive of Wagner to have won it by beating Ciolek, Degenkolb and Greipel in a sprint.
---
Gaps for Britain:
Thomas, Wiggins, Kennaugh
+ 1'33
Stannard, Bibby House
+ 2'45
Rest of the 12 man break
Similar to last year then, a situation where Sky have ridden off the nearest challengers, and now will go head to head.

You may be happy for him, or happy with the result, but I doubt you have anything to do with it, so there's nothing to feel proud of... |

2km to go, Gilbert attacks! Boonen chases, but that is a gap for Gilbert...

Enjoyable race, on a tough circuit (4 500 m of climbing overall)
I'm glad for Chavanel, it was one of his greatest dreams to wear the nationnal champ jersey, and he really deserved to win it at least one.
I wish him a year as awesome as Voeckler had with the jersey on.
We always have great nationnal champions =D
A bit dissapointed by europcar's tactic how could they with about 20 riders let Chavanel win with only Pineau to help. No sign of Kern Charteau or Gautier, just Rolland Hurel and Le Floch in the break were there to help Thomas...
And what a promising rider is Anthony Roux! he can be an excellent sprinter and pass easily big hills.
Team Europcar !!
RIP Wouter

And there he finished it, that was an amazing attack, pure power. Well done Gilbert. |
