Arrested Development is the best show ever. If you haven't seen it, watch it. Plus 30 Rock, Big Bang Theory, Community, It's Always Sunny in Phildelphia. All awesome shows.

Does anyone watch The IT Crowd? Seriously the best show I've watched. I dont usually laugh at anything while watching alone, but I lost my breath from laughing so hard today!
A shame the seasons are only 6 episodes though!

It's on TV occasionally, and it's actually hilarious. If you like IT Crowd, you'd probably like The Mighty Boosh. Seen it? Season 1 and 2 are hilarious, the rest is meh.

IT Crowd is a cult, best geekish comedy show, as i prefer english humour to the american one. If you like it, you will love Black Books, same author and for me even better fun

Saw Prometheus yesterday,
everyone who's ever seen Alien, you HAVE to go see Prometheus. It's amazingly good. One of the best scifi's since the start of the 21th century! |

On a kind of different note - Has anyone ever watched either of the movies 'The Road' or 'Into the Wild'? They're amazing.
Into The Wild is incredibly beautiful. Sean Penn's masterpiece.
The music is very good, too.
Great movie!
Never seen The Road, though. Same genre?
It's amazing, best.soundtrack of any film ever, Eddie Vedder is my favourite musician.
It's a really emotional movie about a man and his son in post-apocalyptic America, just trying to stay alive, not get killed and so on. Its really undrrated, definetly worth watching.
Just bought it on Amazon.co.uk
I hope it gets here soon, I'm curious to see it! |

Guys seriously, Twilight,True blood and Titanic 3D? Are you some sort of teenage girls or what?
My girlfriend forced me to watch half of one Twilight and i would be rather teared up to pieces by werefolf (but not that muscle model) rather than watching the second half...

How was the 3D? My home town doesn't have a 3D cinema but if it was good enough I'd go and see it (although it would mean a 150k buss ride).

Ugh Prometheus was very meh. Has nothing on Alien, Aliens, Bladerunner etc. I even likes Avatar more..
I've been watching New Girl lately, and I love it! Call me girly all you want it's a really hilarious show and Zooey and Hannah are hottt. might even change my avatar.

Sorry to disappoint you but I didn't watch in 3D, too expensive and it gives me a headache! But a mate of mine has and says the 3D is quite good, better than most other 3D movies. |

I figured that I should check out this thread a bit. Haven't really followed it in the past.
I've never really been a fan of movies, but in the past year or so I've really started to enjoy TV-series. My personal favourite is, by far, Community. The whole show is great, especially the characters. My favourite is Abed. Danny Pudi is just awesome in the role.
I also like some of the more mainstream shows, like The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother. Although I've got a bit tired of those after seeing all the episodes.
Does anyone have any tips for other good shows? I've seen some earlier in the thread, but I'd like some fresh opinions.

Well since I've recently got Netflix, Heroes is a good show. I never actually caught the first volume, and its apparently the best (before the show starts to go in a downward spiral of confusion), so thats good.
Also IT Crowd if you haven't seen my posts about it yet.
Top Gear-Great car show, funny too.
I like Netflix btw, you can literally watch it anywhere and so far, I haven't run out of things to watch. There are a lot of newer movies, some oldie but a goodie movies, and a gazillion TV shows, theres bound to be some you like.
