Shouldn't those Sky guys drop back to Wiggins?
Nah. Flecha and Boasson Hagen is together with Wiggins. I have to say that's bad tactic from Sky. I think they should have let Boasson Hagen and especially Flecha with free roles today, and used the others that could hang on to help Wiggins.
Flecha is the most accomplished cobbles rider, the most experienced, therefore the best possible aid for Wiggins.
Geraint Thomas meanwhile is in the Top 10 of GC, and of course, British
Excuse my ignorance, but can Thomas climb?
He won the British champs on a tough course - and was ~21st in the Dauphine. The Dauphine was effectively his climbing breakthrough, so while untested in a Grand Tour, there are positive signs

Ligget doesn't know Lance punctured and is struggling to come to terms with the thought of Lance not keeping up |

Wait, wait, wait.... So, Lance, who rode this year's Flanders has a puncture. But Contador, Andy & Evans, who hadn't raced any of the cobbled classics this year are in the front group. Is this normal ??????????
P.S. Chavanell also punctured |

If Chavanel is punctured, I can't see his group stopping.

Thor is working, and yelling at the others, because he wants to catch up with Hesjedal |

EDIT: But he is working less than he should, "according" to his skills. |

I think he's behind because Contador clawed back into Lances group before the puncture iirc. |
