First of all Saxo riders have been changing bikes in the classics for years. Matti Brechel and Lars Michaelsen have both lost the leaders because of botched bike changes.
Secondly the initial video is a frecking conspiracy theroy made up of one part Rai Sport report about motorized bikes, one part commercial video from Gruber Antrieb and one part video with red arrows from a guy named Michele Bufalino (who is he by the way?).
How any media can lend credence to at gorram youtube video of that kind is beyond me.

You do know that there are other parts that can break that are kind of close to the rear tyre, such as the rear wheel in general and the gears? |

every morning checking 200 bikes, and then you have to add on the spares. Yeah, it's impossible.
In TT's it's more possible because of the staggered start.

The rear wheel could have taken a hit and gone out of position or he could have broken a spoke.
Even if these two are wheel related problems it takes much less time to just change the whole bike instead of just the wheel.
This is much more likely than the motor stuff

Chris Boardman's thrown his weight into the argument

I drew the motor in a bike for the UCI last Aug, very easy to do if you have no morals. Great story, can't belive it's true

So Valverde's suspended, finally.....
who's next?
Seriously, who's next? There's about 50 names in the document, and that's just the one that was made public. Is everyone else going to run free just because they're not a top rider that the fans care about?

Unless Justice Serrano takes another holiday, probably not

Most guys, it pisses me off that they're out there when their names are in the files.
But that guys like Allan Davis can be out there when the dates when he took EPO and IGF-1 are in the files....that's just mind boggling.

The List of Teams for the Vuelta has been leaked:
https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/vuelt...ist-leaked
It seems like there may be no Garmin. Katusha or Sky. |

That list isn't definitive. HEck, it even has not the 22 teams. And it's based on an original Spanish article where it says that the final decision will be the next monday. |

I'll be amazed if Katusha's invited.
Unless RodrÃguez rides, which at this point is unlikely.

A Danish cycling website has quoted Bjarne Riis' Facebook page for saying: "It's time to get used to the new name! From 2011, the team will be named Team Sungard".
I've seen the page before, and I'm pretty sure it's not an official one |

The Facebook site is just a fake... Trey Greenwood said that they are still looking for a sponsor.

Bjarne Riis doesn't have a facebook page. It's 100% fake
EDIT: Sorry, didn't see M Bregnhoj's post
