3 Greg Henderson (NZl) Team Sky
4 Robbie McEwen (Aus) Team Katusha
5 Luke Roberts (Aus) Team Milram
Well done by Sky. Great leadout, taking full advantage of the narrow roads and constant tight turns.
It didn't quite go to plan, but they still won, so it doesn't matter for them

Phil Liggett keeps saying that Rohregger (the KoM leader) came to Milram from ELK Haus before this season and that he impresses his new team. Am I wrong in thinking that he rode for Milram last year as well? Confused.
Rule #1: When in doubt, Liggett is wrong
Rule #2: In situations not covered by rule #1, rule #1 still applies. Because Liggett is still wrong
You're quite right, Rohregger rode for Milram last year and disappointed quite a bit.

You're right. He came to Milram from ELK Haus in 2008.
the tdu is a pro tour race and last year there was only one big win (haussler won the tdf-stage), but many second places (mailand-sanremo, ronde van vlaanderen)

you're going to have to argue with the Aussies over those i'm afraid.

I'd like to hear you commentating, so we see find out who the biggest idiot is.
Honestly, if you could get past my accent, I think I could do a better job then Ligget. I know that sounds ridiculous considering I've never done play-by-play for anything, but I still think I could, that's how low regard I have for him.
My personal commenting dream team for a cycling race, with a Handegg-esque set up:
Al Michaels -> Play-by-Play
Marco Pinotti -> Color Commentary (as soon as he retires from riding)
Bob Roll -> Sideline Reporter (stick him on one of the press motorcycles)

But does Al Michaels actually know anything about cycling, he's the best NFL commentator out there, but...
And Bob Roll, i hate him.
Now George Hincapie, i like him, been a round a few years, he'd work well on TV.
Good idea, we'll trade Hincapie for Roll. And as for Michaels, he'd just need to learn a little, but even with a tenth of the cycling knowledge that Ligget has, his ability to carry commentary and his sense of the moment would make him far better than Mr. Phillip Ligget.
