Valvede's two CAS hearings:
January 12th to 14th - CONI's suspension in italian soil
March 18th to 21st - WADA and UCI's joing bid to force the spanish authorities to punish him
so this means that he will be riding until mid March no matter what?

I like the cyclingnews page today.
There's a story with Gripper (I thought her name was Greiper?) saying that the war on drugs is being won. Then under that is the news that Piti and his 'special' blood will start the TdU. |

I added an opinion on the end, in the form of a question. I'm getting that clever.

Contador says that he likes the Vuelta route (he calls it 'inspiring', and that he'll decide after the Tour whether he'll ride it.
Nothing surprising there.
Edit: Gesink won't ride the Vuelta.

Its okay, instead of the Giro he'll ride, and win, Le Tour. Hurray for justice!

Uhm....no.
CONI reccomended a 3 year ban. The decision will later be made, taking into account that reccomendation. It might be higher or lower, or he might be found not guilty (let's all laugh at that silly notion)
