Once it has been released (...), you will probably find a readme in the package
The database will be released in several languages, and English is one of them (or "international", since the race names will be in UCI language). |

@Dankan- 2 questions?
1. The Calendar that Addy provided on pg 1 doesnt contain the voulta Columbia, but in the screenshots, you have showd the race, is there a more up to date version of the calendar?
2. I also see you have not included, at least 1 swedish race at the whole calendar, now i can appreciate that you may not know alot about the minor races over there, but if possible could you include a tour of sweden, (6 or 7 stages)

about your second question, there is only one swedish race on the UCI calendar, and there's no tour of sweden as far as I know |

Yh well i just want a swedish race, i mean come on, he has included like a hundred teams of portuguese, an no offence but id rather play as a swedish team than a portuguese team, i suppose they find there bikes in the trsh . I Would like there to be a swedish race, and nationals (for sweden) and at least 1 swedish continental team!
Edit: Oh wait, just about to rip Issiosso 'The SCF organizes every year the Tour of Sweden, a six-stage event with a mixed participation of amateur country teams and professional teams.' Oh it feels good, and thats a statement from the Swedish cycling federation B)

because they all ride the races that he put in there. so they're necessary. it's either that or take out all the portuguese calendar. so you're advocating taking out eleven teams and a few dozen races in favor of one race and one team?

what offence? it's your taste I liked playing the swedish team in PPDB too...

no idea what you're on about

my point is it's not an event on the UCI calendar. it's about as high on the list as the tour of [insert your neighbourhood's name here]
there is ONE swedish race on the calendar: the "Scandinavian Open Road Race".
he's looking at the general base of people. the general base of people want the more important teams and the more important races.
so, the eleven portuguese teams and several portuguese races are far more important than swedish amateur teams (which I've yet to see in any DB ) and the single swedish race...
simple
EDIT: also, after that post, you're officially forbidden to complain about Addy's english

Why when i was copying a swedish cycling team correctly, if i had spelt it wrong then you would have had an argument but as i spelt it correctly i have all the right in the world to complain about addys english.

Lets get back on topic please.
Talking about which englishman has the better english is a futile discussion, and Karl - I'm afraid issoisso is right, the PCM Spain team won't add any more Swedish stuff than they have announced, their just isn't enough high profile stuff there

Swedish ''attendance'' is null compared to Portuguese people's. Even there aren't enough teams to add the Scandinavian Open, don't think I didn't wonder if we could add it. Simply no stuff.
PS: No blog entry today as correcting riderstats isn't an interesting process. AND I'm not going on hilday till the 30th. |
