i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ausreier-21.jpg
i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ausreier2-1.jpg

The breakaway.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/25kmtogohighspeed.jpg

With 25 km to go Mazzanti and Brutt try to keep the speed very high so no one can attack.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ivanovbereitetpozzatodensprintvor.jpg

The sprint trains.Ivanov tries to lead out Pozzato.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/sprintbegins-1.jpg

The sprint begins and it looks really good for us.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/breschelvorne.jpg

Now Breschel takes the lead and Pozzato is still in a good position.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/cancellaravorne.jpg

It´s the last km and Cancellara shows his strength now.Pozzato is trying to follow him.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/500meter.jpg

Only 400 metres to go Cancellara is still in front on the left Elmiger comes very fast.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ivanovnochfnfterpozzatozweiter.jpg

This will be a very close finish.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/cancallarasiegt.jpg

But Cancellara is too strong today he takes the big win at Milan - San Remo in front of Elmiger and Pozzato.Nice podium for us.

Sorry i can´t export the results and i also forgot to take a screenshot of them.

1.Cancellara
2.Elmiger
3.Pozzato
4.Ballan
5.Ivanov(Nice result)
6.O´Grady

at the moment we are not racing minor races.
we´re only racing the big races like Paris-Roubaix and the other cobblestone classics.
the fitness of our team isn´t the best so you know we´re trying to relax.
as you know the giro will come soon!!

FIRST STAGE: ATAUN - ATAUN

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ergebnisse-2.jpg
I´m really sorry but i couldn´t take any screenshots because the game crashed after the finish.
But as you can see Ivanov wins in the sprint against Rodriguez.
They attacked with 10 km to go and were the best in the downhill section so no one could follow them.
The sprint was close but Ivanov was the better one!!
Great start in this tour.

Batista15
STAGE 2 : ATAUN - VILLATUERTA

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/profil-28.jpg

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ausreier-22.jpg

The breakaway

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/5km-2.jpg

With only 5 km to go one of the breakaway is still in front. It´s Bonnafond.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/sprinttrains-1.jpg

There are no great sprint trains today because no one believes in a big sprint for the stage win.
Ivanov is in a good position.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/1km-7.jpg

The last km for Bonnafond.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/1km2.jpg

A few seconds later a small chasing group comes to the last km stamp.
Kaisen and Rolland are in this group.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ivanovgutplaziert.jpg

3 km to go for the pack and Ivanov seems to be in a great form.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/finish-3.jpg

But no one could reach Bonnafond today he´s the winner of the second stage.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ivanov1km.jpg

The sprint begins for Ivanov maybe he can get another top 5 result.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ivanovwirdvierter.jpg

And it´s even the fourth place today behind Kaisen and Rolland. And of course he defends his leader jersey.

Stage results:
1 Guillaume Bonnafond AG2R La Mondiale 4h17'51

STAGE 3 : VILLATUERTA - EIBAR

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/profil-29.jpg

You can see a hard climb in the end.I think there will be many favorites trying an attack.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ausreier-23.jpg

The breakaway

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/vieleangriffe.jpg

As we expect there are many attacks on the last climb.Andy Schleck and Cunego are there , too.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/werdenwiedereingeholt.jpg

But with 7 km to go the pack catch them. The speed is unbelievable fast now.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/5km-3.jpg

At the 5 km stamp Schleck tries another move and this time it seems to be more successful than before.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/schleckinfront.jpg

So Schleck is in front and behind him Basso starts an counter attack like many other riders.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/schleckanderbergwertungnurnochwenig.jpg

Schleck reaches the KOM and only Basso can follow him.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/bassokommtnher.jpg

After the KOM Basso caught Schleck. And behind them Brajkovic,Garate and Marchante went after Basso and Schleck.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/1km-8.jpg

The last km for the leading group who will win the sprint?

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/sprintbeginnt-2.jpg

The sprint begins and it seems that this will be a very close finish.Schleck is still in front.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ziel.jpg

Schleck is in front but look at Brajkovic!!The chasing group caught them on the last metres and it seems that Brajkovic is the fastest there.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/schleckgewinnt.jpg

Schleck wins this stage but Basso is only third because Brajkovic overtakes him on the last metres. What an amazing sprint final.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ivanovkommtinsziel.jpg

Ivanov comes and he´s loosing 91 seconds to Schleck. That means that Ivanov also lost the leader jersey.

Stage results:

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ausreier-24.jpg

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ivanovattakiert40kmvormziel.jpg

You know Ivanov lost his leader jersey yesterday and he was very angry about that so he attacks with more than 40 km to go on a small hill.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ivanovvorne.jpg

With 20 km to go Ivanov is still in front with more than 2 minutes. This seems to be very successful. The pack doesn´t care about him.

Only 3 km to go and the sprint begins for Ivanov. His advantage is still more than one minute.

Only 300 metres what an attack by him.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ivanovsiegt-1.jpg

Next stage win for Ivanov , fantastic stage by him.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/sprintdeshauptfeldes.jpg

STAGE 5 : GÜENES - ZALLA

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/profil-31.jpg

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ausreier-25.jpg

The breakaway

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/attackevielerfahrer.jpg

On the last hill many riders start an attack.Ivanov makes a counter attack after waiting for few moments.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ivanovvorne-1.jpg

And after the KOM Ivanov is in front.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/spitzengruppe-1.jpg

After this climb there is a leading group with Ivanov,Samuel Sanchez , Marchante and a few more.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/5km-4.jpg

At the 5 km brand this group is still in front of the pack.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ivanovattackiert.jpg

And after the little downhill i stress that after the downhill Ivanov makes another move to get more time in the overall because the last stage will be a time trial which is not very easy.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/3km-1.jpg

And with only 3 km to go Ivanov has a small gap to the chasing group with Sanchez.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/1km-9.jpg

1km for the chasers.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ivanovkurzvormziel.jpg

Ivanov has just a few metres to his next stage win.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/ivanovsiegterneut.jpg

Yes it´s done!!Ivanov wins again and could take a few bonus seconds for the overall. He can save also 27 seconds to the next group.

i636.photobucket.com/albums/uu82/Batista15/sprintumplatz2und3.jpg

The second group is sprinting for the second and the third place.Sanchez beomes second in front of Jufre from Fuji-Servetto.

Stage results:

7 Andy Schleck Team Saxo Bank s.t.
8 José Ruiz Andalucía Cajasur s.t.
9 Janez Brajkovič Astana Cycling Team s.t.
10 Ángel Vicioso Andalucía Cajasur s.t.

9 José Angel Gómez Marchante Cervélo Test Team + 2'06
10 Josep Jufré Fuji - Servetto + 2'38

This should be enough time to keep the leader jersey tomorrow.

Points:
1 Sergei Ivanov Team Katusha 78
2 Joaquím Rodríguez Caisse d'Epargne 35
3 Jérôme Pineau Quick Step 30
