OK HERE WE GO!!!!!!!
The breakaway.
With 25 km to go Mazzanti and Brutt try to keep the speed very high so no one can attack.
The sprint trains.Ivanov tries to lead out Pozzato.
The sprint begins and it looks really good for us.
Now Breschel takes the lead and Pozzato is still in a good position.
It´s the last km and Cancellara shows his strength now.Pozzato is trying to follow him.
Only 400 metres to go Cancellara is still in front on the left Elmiger comes very fast.
This will be a very close finish.
But Cancellara is too strong today he takes the big win at Milan - San Remo in front of Elmiger and Pozzato.Nice podium for us.
Sorry i can´t export the results and i also forgot to take a screenshot of them.
1.Cancellara
2.Elmiger
3.Pozzato
4.Ballan
5.Ivanov(Nice result)
6.O´Grady
7.Gilbert
8.Van Avermaet
9.Cunego
10.Rast |

at the moment we are not racing minor races.
we´re only racing the big races like Paris-Roubaix and the other cobblestone classics.
the fitness of our team isn´t the best so you know we´re trying to relax.
as you know the giro will come soon!! |

FIRST STAGE: ATAUN - ATAUN
I´m really sorry but i couldn´t take any screenshots because the game crashed after the finish.
But as you can see Ivanov wins in the sprint against Rodriguez.
They attacked with 10 km to go and were the best in the downhill section so no one could follow them.
The sprint was close but Ivanov was the better one!!
Great start in this tour. |

STAGE 2 : ATAUN - VILLATUERTA
The breakaway
With only 5 km to go one of the breakaway is still in front. It´s Bonnafond.
There are no great sprint trains today because no one believes in a big sprint for the stage win.
Ivanov is in a good position.
The last km for Bonnafond.
A few seconds later a small chasing group comes to the last km stamp.
Kaisen and Rolland are in this group.
3 km to go for the pack and Ivanov seems to be in a great form.
But no one could reach Bonnafond today he´s the winner of the second stage.
The sprint begins for Ivanov maybe he can get another top 5 result.
And it´s even the fourth place today behind Kaisen and Rolland. And of course he defends his leader jersey.

STAGE 3 : VILLATUERTA - EIBAR
You can see a hard climb in the end.I think there will be many favorites trying an attack.
The breakaway
As we expect there are many attacks on the last climb.Andy Schleck and Cunego are there , too.
But with 7 km to go the pack catch them. The speed is unbelievable fast now.
At the 5 km stamp Schleck tries another move and this time it seems to be more successful than before.
So Schleck is in front and behind him Basso starts an counter attack like many other riders.
Schleck reaches the KOM and only Basso can follow him.
After the KOM Basso caught Schleck. And behind them Brajkovic,Garate and Marchante went after Basso and Schleck.
The last km for the leading group who will win the sprint?
The sprint begins and it seems that this will be a very close finish.Schleck is still in front.
Schleck is in front but look at Brajkovic!!The chasing group caught them on the last metres and it seems that Brajkovic is the fastest there.
Schleck wins this stage but Basso is only third because Brajkovic overtakes him on the last metres. What an amazing sprint final.
Ivanov comes and he´s loosing 91 seconds to Schleck. That means that Ivanov also lost the leader jersey.
Stage results:
1 Andy Schleck Team Saxo Bank 4h29'24
2 Janez Brajkovic Astana Cycling Team s.t.

STAGE 4 : EIBAR - GÜENES
You know Ivanov lost his leader jersey yesterday and he was very angry about that so he attacks with more than 40 km to go on a small hill.
With 20 km to go Ivanov is still in front with more than 2 minutes. This seems to be very successful. The pack doesn´t care about him.
Only 3 km to go and the sprint begins for Ivanov. His advantage is still more than one minute.
Last kilometre!!
Only 300 metres what an attack by him.
Next stage win for Ivanov , fantastic stage by him.
Here comes the pack and Vicioso becomes second in front of Pineau.
No one thought that Ivanov will attack with more than 40 km to go.Everybody was surprised, this was our luck today!!And of course Ivanov takes the leader jersey again.
Stage results:
1 Sergei Ivanov Team Katusha 4h15'19
2 Ángel Vicioso Andalucía Cajasur + 1'01

STAGE 5 : GÜENES - ZALLA
The breakaway
On the last hill many riders start an attack.Ivanov makes a counter attack after waiting for few moments.
And after the KOM Ivanov is in front.
After this climb there is a leading group with Ivanov,Samuel Sanchez , Marchante and a few more.
At the 5 km brand this group is still in front of the pack.
And after the little downhill i stress that after the downhill Ivanov makes another move to get more time in the overall because the last stage will be a time trial which is not very easy.
And with only 3 km to go Ivanov has a small gap to the chasing group with Sanchez.
1km for the chasers.
Ivanov has just a few metres to his next stage win.
Yes it´s done!!Ivanov wins again and could take a few bonus seconds for the overall. He can save also 27 seconds to the next group.
The second group is sprinting for the second and the third place.Sanchez beomes second in front of Jufre from Fuji-Servetto.
Stage results:
1 Sergei Ivanov Team Katusha 4h29'19

FINAL STAGE : ZALLA - ZALLA
Canada was a big surprise he took the 11th place(+22)
Fantastic time by Nibali in the end he takes the 4 th place with only 8 seconds behind the winner.
Wiggins becomes 6th (+13)
Taaramäe (9th/+21)
Valverde with another good time today (7th /+17)
Lövkvist with a really good time , too.(8th /+19)
Average time for Tony Martin(14th/+25)
Then Basso came with a good time but not more (10th/+21)
Cunego was to weak today(23th/+41)
Danielson (12th/+23)
Then Leipheimer came with an amazing time and he took the second place in the end.(+7)
Andy Schleck(13th/+23)
Sanchez with a great time for his conditions. He´s third in the end with 8 seconds behind the winner.
Next one was Rodriguez but he couldn´t race for the win there.(15th/+26)
The German one Jens Voigt with a really good time. He´s only 10 seconds slower than the winner but who is the winner??
Is it Garate??? NO he isn´t!To bad his time!!(38th/+1.00)
The winner is Brajkovic who was the most dangerous one for the overall.
So now Ivanov should not loose too much time.Brajkovic came with an absolute amazing time so Ivanov has to fight a lot!!
Ivanov at the start, i hope that he isn´t so nervous like me
19 km to go
Ivanov reaches the first time chronometry and he lost many seconds already.
10 km to go
8 km to go
3,5 km to go
Only 2,8 km to go
2,3 km to go and there is a downhill which is very useful for Ivanov
The last kilometre!!
And now he´s finishing! But how many seconds did he loose to Brajkovic??
HE LOST ONLY 1 MINUTE AND 9 SECONDS!!!!HE IS THE WINNER OF PAIS VASCO 2009!!!
Great results for him!And of course for the whole team.
