Now with Vanendert as a superdomestique , Gilbert can't loose. |

That looked way too easy for Gilbert.
And what the hell, Barredo attacks, Barredo is caught, Barredo attacks, Barredo is caught, Barredo attacks, Barredo finishes 2nd.

Gilbert is incredible ! He drops the others with an attack from the front and no one could follow even they were at his backwheel ! What a season for him. I didn't see anything like that in the last 10 years I think ! Now he goes for the rainbow-jersey in Copenhagen. That would be the coronation of a fantastic season ! |

As you being a Leopard fan, you should remember Cancellara's TDF Stage 3 win in 2007, Roubaix win in 2010 and San Remo win in 2008, which were all won in the same style as todays Gilbert win.

Yes, but Gilbert won all this races in the same year ! That's the fantastic thing. |

And what about Ronde? Is that also too flat to be called hilly? |

But it's a cobbled classic, so not a true hills classic

Indeed.
Hilly classics = AGR, FW, LBL, San Sebastian, Lombardy.
Ofcourse, if you talk hilly races then you can add a lot more.. Montreal, Quebec, Plouay, Br. Pijl + 10000 italian oneday races |

Well, to some extent MSR and recent Paris-Tours editions are also hilly classics, I mean even though it's not huge hills, it's still more than enough to drop any Hans Dekkers.
As for Lombardy, people who do well there are, generally, more than decent climbers (I mean mountain ones), so, even if it has many hills, in my opinion it's not that far from a semi-mountain classic.
Oh well, maybe I'm too influenced by old CyM/PCM games when they used 50% of hills and 50% of mountains to determine the climbing ability of riders in Lombardy and Liège. |

Crazy stage in Denmark. Most of the GC-guys lost time, including Fuglsang, the big favorite.
Mørkøv, Kruijswijk is favorites now imo. Breschel, Bennati also maybe. Breschel not good on the TT though. And also, i dont know if Mørkøv is good enough on the hard stage on friday, but lets see. Going to be a good race
