Nice. 3rd day in a row that I win on the odds... Starting with 10 Dollars, I'm now on 160 or so

Well the Italians can be happy, it's their first stage win this Giro. But what a chaos it was! I never suspected those GC guys to jump

Well, how much do I regret transferring out Pozzato for Bennati in the fantasy game? Lack a day.
Ha, about as bad as my Pozzato for CVV in our VeloGames league. Hindsight |

There's a reason for that.

Good tactics by the lad. He had nothing to gain by winning by 1, or 10 seconds. He did what he had to to make the break get away a bit on the climb, then sat on. Fine by me. No worse tactics than slowing the chase up a tad.

I left uni today, well-knowing that the transport time would cost me the final. I should have learned by now that there are no boring stages in the Giro! |

All the GC favourites had to work. Voeckler just wanted the stage win. So it wasn`t that important if the group is 5sec or 1 min in front of the peloton.
So he did everything right and unfortunately he didn`t win.

Evans doesn't get disqualified. Instead both he and Righi are fined. |

My comment after yesterday was that Cadel shouldn't constantly take us literally when we say it's his race to lose.
Today it's that he shouldn't take us literally when we say he should attack more.

I think if your refering to CrueTrue's post its just a chatroom. But if you're refering to Evans Punching the Lampre rider its on Youtube and its shown from Universal Sports so that is in English. i just searched Giro 2010 Stage 12 on youtube.

Evans said the reason for his actions were those riders he "attacked" were purposefully slowing down the chase.

The Lampre guy, I have no clue. But the Katusha guy made a dangerous block there. Could've caused a serious crash.
