@Karl_rab: I don't think that Henry will move to premiership, but Premier League will be more likely

Isn't premiership the league under Premier League?

Michael Laudrup's agent Bayram Tutumlu says that Laudrup has been offered the seat in Benfica and that Laudrup is considering it.

Well, I still haven't seen anything about the last round of the Italian league, so i'll sum up..
- Inter won the title with 4 points, afteir they won and Roma draw their last match. Juventus finished third () and Fiorentina fourth. These teams qualified for the Champions League next season.
- Suprisingly, Milan failed to reach the CL, finishing fifth..
- The teams that were relegated are Parma, Livorno and Empoli.
- And the best thing of this season, Alessandro Del Piero became the top scorer in Seria A, in front of Trezeguet (I'm one of the biggest Juvenuts fans , so this was a great achievment for the team, which sums up our good comeback-season ) |

they were promoted this season and finishid 3rd(spot at CL) in front of benfica(not a good team), and they haven't any stars
glad to see such determination, they deserve a stand-up ovation

yup, apparently they've been rejected by both Flores and Prandelli, so they're running out of options quickly

i wouldn't be so sure about that
benfica is one of(if not the) most terrible places to coach
very few players, no decision in transfers market and the chairman says everything is allright and then you're fired
if i would have to choose, santander all the way

I think to be honest if Laudrup takes the Benfica job its only because he'll want to place himself in the shop window for one of the bigger teams in the so called big leagues. I'd be surprised if he didn't leave before the end of one season. |

Well, there's no doubt that Laudrup rather wants to be in Barcelona or Real Madrid. Problem is, though, that Schuster has been doing very well in Real Madrid, so he won't get that job anytime soon. Barcelona preferred Guardiola over him, and he will last for at least two seasons.
Then there's Sevilla and Valencia, but both have obviously said no to him. But he's tired of being with the small clubs, he needs a bigger one now after Getafe, and currently only Benfica seems to be a choice. It's not Barcelona, but it's not Getafe either |

Benfica is the next step up on the managerial ladder...despite all their problems backstage.
Next stop - a mid table team with a big reputation for being a 'big' club, like Tottenham or Man City. Then, if he does well there, he might get called up to take control of one of the bigger teams, but most likely not - International management may come first - and then he can coach a club like Madrid!
I'm not saying thats a definite career plan, but thats how I see it folding out for him unless he does something spectacular while in control of a club like Benfica. You never know though, with the law on your side anythins possible! |

Inter have claimed Frank Lampard will be signing for them - they've even given a contract figure and a length of contract.
Chelsea completely deny this.
But it was reported in the Times over here, so probably can be trusted

Mourinho is their next manager. something tells me it's not bullshit.
as for Laudrup, way to commit career suicide...choosing a club that's poorly organised, where you therefore have little chance of success and where the almost guaranteed failure will be perceived by outsiders as being caused by you.
If he signs, he's an idiot.

A Danish sports magazine says today that Laudrup would have been fired if he had not left himself. |

in the morning papers it says that benfica is now trying to hire zico if laudruo rejects
funny thing, few months ago, a newspaper gave an interview with zico, and he said that he is from sporting
benfica really has an eye for those things
