Abdulatif rushed to the metallic piece, which turned out to be gold, and frantically started digging. After a few seconds of shock had subsided, I joined him.
It didn't take long for us to unearth what had been buried. It was a body. Decorated in an assortment of gemstones, metals and objects I have never seen before. Whether it was, once, a man or a woman was simply impossible to tell. Under further scrutiny I myself began to doubt whether it was a man or a woman, a human, at all.
With my eyes fixed on the body I turned to Abdulatif and said '... What happens next?'
' I don't ... I don't know. This is where the dream ends.' I turned to look at Abdulatif who was covered in perspiration, we both were - when...
' Do not be afraid'
A toneless voice emerged from where the body was laying, from the corner of my eye I saw movement.
I slowly turned and saw the body moving just as a human would . Impossible. Was this a dream? Abdulatif placed his hand on my shoulder to calm me, despite clearly being in a state of shock himself. The thing begin talking.
' You may call me Ula na Naoul. I am from a species who visited this planted many moons a go. Millions of years to you two. We went under the name of the Catacomb saints, but our name died out long ago.'
'We summoned you here because people like you, good people, need to survive. We ask you to spread the message of your true will, of ours. You must spread the message of peace amongst your people with the knowledge that the 'good' of your kind will be saved. Speak under the name of the Catacomb Saints.'
We will come from the skies on 20/03/2032 and take the 'good' of your kind to a new 'Earth'. Remember that day for few will wake on the sun rise of 21/03/2032 as sadly ...... sadly evil cannot be stopped.'

In a matter of seconds the body crumbled to dust before our very own mesmerised eyes leaving only the metals and gemstones before us. There was complete silence. We stepped over towards where the body had been and cautiously picked up the metals and gems - when. A bark sounded close by. Only it wasn't a bark.
'RUN' Shouted Abdulatif as a foul beast, a creature of pure evil, came into view from where we had entered the room. We ran through the opposite exit. We sure did run.
We carried on running. The thought that this must be a dream kept circling around my head, but why wouldn't I wake up? Side by side we ran into the pitch darkness of the tunnels ahead.
All was dark.......

'Fred. Mr Aurel. Please wake up.' I slowly opened my eyes and managed to stand up without too much trouble. After a few seconds of regaining my bearings I was aware that I was standing in the foyer of the Duvel factory.
Our tour guide, Eddie Donk, was somewhat relieved when he saw I was fine. Abdulatif was standing beside him, a look of brief relief slipped from his face and was instantly replaced by a look of sadness and despair as he handed me the newspaper. Which read:

We drove in silence, in the wet Belgian afternoon, for minutes before Abdualtif said ' Did all of that really happen?'
I pulled out a small gemstone from my left trouser pocket and replied ' As real as anything' then 'I will speak under the name of the Catacomb Saints, will you?'

It took me a few days to register everything what happened in Breendonk. But when it registered, it really did hit home what I had to do. I was so mentally consumed by everything that I would not be going with the squad to the Dauphine, instead I would be at my Antwerp home plotting. Plotting what? Plotting this......
Starting up a cycling team in the name of the Catacomb saints, surely that is why myself and Abdulatif were summoned to the long lost depths. Although in the early stages, we do have a jersey outline already! It is now up to me to mingle with the peace and solidarity movements in order to promote this just cause.
Next I will break the news to my partner Jun Lee, who is an anchor on Belgian TV. If she gets behind the idea that would be huge, if she doesn't think I've lost my mind!

It is official. We aim to complete our final goal with Qatar Optics at the upcoming tDF, the big one. In preparation for this we will be racing at the Dauphine and the tour de Suisse. We don't have many ambitions in the two races other than to get some well needed mileage into the riders. I would not be with the squad in the Dauphine what with being consumer with spreading the word of the Catacomb Saints.

The hilly nature of the prologue threw up a strange winner in Beatse.
The break would make it today and despite the stage containing a mountain, it was not challenging enough as, the sprinter Ponzi claimed victory. The GC group caught the break at the line. Duarte and Gautier were caught up in a crash and lost time.
After being in the break all day the young Italian would hold on for the win. Beatse loses the race lead to his teammate after Seeldraeyers was the best today on the punchy finish.
Roux puts in a classy late attack for the stage win.
We had a good day in getting Impey into the break of the day. He would have had a shot at victory were it not for the interest in the peloton of a stage win.

Two days after Duarte and Gautier fell today was the turn of Eijssen to lose time due to a crash. This puts veteran Andy Schleck in a good position for the GC.

Thanks to my agent some sponsors, who will be debuting on the world tour next season, have expressed an interest in myself as a DS for their teams. These sponsors will be new to cycling and will be taking over existing WT teams at the end of the season.

To be the first DS for any one of the above teams would be great. @ Shonak - Fantastically weird!! I do like the idea of adding a missionary cycling team, it is certainly different! -- Al Sulimani even crashed on the last stage, so any hope of a decent result may not happen in Suisse. Still a decent race on the cards in the mountains regardless.
@ MrUFo87 - I will be creating a load of jerseys, like the ones above, in quick time. As when you get to the end of 2021 it seems the same sponsor overtakes many teams.... So, potentially, I am looking at 10 Garmin teams competing alongside each other next season. It is a bad bug, which I believe effects everyone who gets this far, so I will have to edit a load of teams eventually so each team has a different sponsor! On a good day Al Sulimani, the most decorated Qatari rider ever, gets into the break.
Al Sulimani was the strongest out of the break but, on the narrow steep climb with 10 KM to go some of the favourites rode across and denied the prospect of a famous win for us.
Winning in Yellow!
The yellow jersey Seeldraeyers showed his fantastic form by edging out the Herbalife duo of Rowe and Eijssen for the stage win. Eijssen is the big winner today he gains time on the GC favourite at the start of the day, Schleck.
With mountains at the start of the stage and at the end, before a 15 KM descent, this is the decisive stage of this tour de Suisse.
Qatar Optics make the one man break!
Marzouki started at the front of the peloton today, and, after a few kilometres he thought it wise to attack. A big grin quickly etched itself onto his face and mine as it was clear he would be allowed to get away by himself today.
Celebrate it! Marzouki celebrates summiting the Sustenpass climb 1st.
Our Tunisian, who rode for our continental team last season, would claim 32 KOM points from the first two climbs on the day. Superb. He would be leading that competition at the end of the day.
Eventually Betancourt and Duarte and then the GC group would catch up and pass Marzouki, who would finish well down and empty, but it was worth it.
For the GC!
Eijssen and Schleck proved themselves to be the GC men of this tour de Suisse. Schleck attacked early on the final climb and, with help from a number of strong teammates, Eijssen managed to ride across to the veteran. This brought many memories back to many people as Eijssen won a TDF by '1 second over Schleck once upon a time. The yellow jersey was to fight for after Seelsdraeyers crashed out of the race.
At the downhill finish Eijssen bettered Schleck and Duarte. Not too for behind was Rowe, who moves into the shock race lead after riding one of his best ever mountain stages.

We made the break with van Overberghe today, it was a break that would be allowed to succeed.
Degenkolb takes the win from the break.
Argos - Wii, who will become Wii next season, notch up another win to their seamlessly endless list. From far out it was clear that Degenkolb would be the favourite for victory and his 'easy' win paid credence to this. van Overberghe was disappointed he was one of the few riders to be dropped from the break today.
With 20 KOM points, max, on offer we were aware that, if the right break got away, from our perspective that the KOM jersey had a high chance of being ours to keep at the end of this stage.
Deep into the stage Eijssen (3rd) leads the peloton.
To our satisfaction a break got away whereby it was impossible for anyone to overhaul the 32 KOM points of Marzouki, that jersey would be ours.
11 KM to go: we have a big mix up!
A big crash, as the break is caught, on the hilly terrain means the yellow jersey, Rowe, is caught up! Gautier seizes this opportunity and attacks. Not too far behind the men for the GC, Mollema and Schleck, are part of a 4 man group who push on having missed the crash.
A Strong Win!
I report another win for Gautier, he really is a quality rider. A fortunate day for Andy Schleck means he moves into the race lead, he will start the final day in yellow as he aims to win a record 4th tour de Suisse.
French champ, Roux, put in a super display which may have even bettered Kritskiy to win the final stage. He won by 1'18. One of the, if not the, finest TT man France has ever produced.
Andy Schleck wins an outright record 4th tour de Suisse, he has finished 2nd on multiple occasions as well! Had Rowe not been caught up in the crash on stage 8, seconds would have separated Schleck and Rowe for the GC win.
We expected little here and leave with a jersey! Marzouki is the king of the mountains in Switzerland! We hardly could have wished for better.

The word is spreading!
Just two weeks after our adventure in the catacombs of Belgium our word has been spreading. I, myself, have presented multiple presentations but Abdulatif Al Zaid has been really impressive with his tenacity to spread the word to all corners of the world.
