no that was just contact. Nothing sined jet, so rabo want's him and have a good chance because of his son, who rides for Rabo CT!

From the little I understand of that article, it is only talk about Rabobank wants a coach for their sprinters, and Zabel seems like the perfect man, as he retired from cycling after this season's success at HTC?
If that's the case, your Dutch "newspaper" seems to miss out on the fact that Zabel has agreed to help the sprinters in Katusha. Also, Katusha's director sportif, Holzcer, said earlier this autumm:
"Erik will start with us this winter, he will have the same role with our team," (as he had in HTC).
And if you google Erik Zabel and Katusha, you will find lots of articles confirming Zabel will work with Katusha next season. |

In first place, its not a news paper, in second, in the article says that Zabel doesn't have signed anything at katusha. Perhaps i'm wrong, so don't shoot me when he really agreed at katusha!
